ISo what point are you driving? That because of the earthquake Christ resurrected? Where is that implied to in the verse you quoted? Do you mean for every earthquake there is resurrection? From what I know, for every great earthquake, death come to many.
Earthquakes? what does this have to do with earthquakes?

I don’t know how to make it clearer

IT WAS ALWAYS SATURDAY THE ORIGINAL JEWISH SABBATH WAS ON SATURDAY. AT THE TIME OF THE APOSTLES THE SABBATH WAS SATURDAY!!!

That is how we know Jesus Resurrected on a Sunday Morning because Mathew 28:1 says he Resurrected AFTER THE SABBATH

So I repeat.

Mathew 28:1-3
“1AFTER THE SABBATH, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.
2 There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. 3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow.”

The Magi saw there was a King born of the Jews just by observing the stars and follow the star of Bethlehem, which simply was Jupiter coming in conjunction with Regulas, to the location of Christ. I think, also given the high visibility of the sky back then, Jewish astronomers could handle detecting lunar activity.
Yes, but could they handle the presence of any low-lying cloud obscuring the young crescent in the western horizon from the view of a Jerusalem observer? I doubt.
You’re forgetting that the Jews declared a day starts from sunset and ends at sunset. The blood moon happened during the day, as the paper shows how it was visible in Jerusalem of 33 AD, of Nisan 14 and that night was Nisan 15 which had, of course, a full moon. Saturday night was Nisan 16. This is why Saturday night Vigil Mass counts as a Sunday Mass for the sun has set.
Let’s see when the eclipse occurred. Here’s what the authors said:
The Lunar Eclipse on Friday, 3 April, A.D. 33
Calculations show that this eclipse was visible from Jerusalem at moonrise. All times quoted below are local Jerusalem times as measured by a sundial. The start of the eclipse was invisible from Jerusalem, being below the horizon. The eclipse began at 3.40pm and reached a maximum at about 5.15pm, with 60% of the moon eclipsed. This was also below the horizon from Jerusalem. The moon rose above the horizon, and was first visible from Jerusalem, at about 6.20pm (the start of the Jewish Sabbath and also the start of Passover day in A.D. 33) with about 20% of its disc in the umbra of the earth’s shadow and the remainder in the penumbra. The eclipse finished some 30 minutes later at 6.50pm.
Start of eclipse, 3:40 PM. Ended, 6:20 PM. Since lunar eclipse only occurs on a full moon, what time was the full moon? The data from the US Naval Observatory tells us that the full moon occurred on 2:40 PM Universal Time or 4:40 PM Jerusalem time, April 3, 33AD, Friday. This validates that indeed the eclipse occurred. But Passover is a full moon festival. Christ through Whom God created the heaven and the earth, surely can not lose track of when the full moon will occur. Therefore, He could not have celebrated Passover the night before, or on Thursday night, since the moon was not yet full.

That further proves the impossibility of crucifixion on 3 April 33AD.

Mathew 28:

Jesus Has Risen

" 1 After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.
2 There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. 3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. 4 The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.

5 The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. 7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”

8 So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. 9 Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. 10 Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.”

The Guards’ Report

11 While the women were on their way, some of the guards went into the city and reported to the chief priests everything that had happened. 12 When the chief priests had met with the elders and devised a plan, they gave the soldiers a large sum of money, 13 telling them, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came during the night and stole him away while we were asleep.’ 14 If this report gets to the governor, we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble.” 15 So the soldiers took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story has been widely circulated among the Jews to this very day.
The Great Commission

16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Where in Matt 28:1 does it say that, brother? Here’s your own quoted verse:

Mathew 28:1
"1AFTER THE SABBATH, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.

The verse just said the two Mary’s went to look at the tomb. So how did you arrive at your conclusion “Mathew 28:1 says he Resurrected AFTER THE SABBATH”. Marvelous indeed!

READ THE BIBLE!!!
Did you understand what you have just read? Of course, you do. The angel said to the women, He is not here; He has risen! True. Indeed He had risen. But the question is WHEN? And nothing in that whole chapter has that information. Only Mark 16:9 has that information. Christ rose on ‘proi prote sabbatou’, that is, ‘early morning of the chief sabbath’, Saturday.

You need not cut and paste the whole chapter 28, SwissGuard25. You are just wasting space. Just point to the verse or verses where it says WHEN Christ resurrected and you’re done proving your point.

matthew 28 does not say when jesus resurrected:

it says when after the sabbath do you get it after the sabbath.

What part of after the sabbath do you not understand???

Mathew 28 says After Sabbath.

Mark isn’t the only place in the bible that tells you when Christ Resurrected.

IT was Passover the whole week was a Sabbath.
Jesus was crucified on the First day of Passover which was FRIDAY.
And believe it or Not he Resurrected according to the Scripture

THREE DAYS AFTER HIS DEATH

Mathew 28:6
HE HAS RISEN…”

Why ask where in the Bible did Jesus teach it is the final authority when the Bible is not yet printed then?
EXACTLY! Therefore the Bible IS NOT THE FINAL AUTHORITY! You follow a man-made teaching called the Bible-Alone,no where taught by God or anyone in the Bible.

You need not cut and paste the whole chapter 28, SwissGuard25. You are just wasting space. Just point to the verse or verses where it says WHEN Christ resurrected and you’re done proving your point.
Neither do you have to cut and paste endless SDA propaganda.

Since when did you realize the majority is not always right?
In this case, we are talking about the 12 Apostles and their Greek-speaking followers, numbering in the thousands. If the native speakers of the language didn’t understand what it meant, then how can you? 🤷

The Apostles and all of their followers - both Jews and Greeks - celebrated the Eucharist (Holy Mass) on Sundays in commemoration (anamnesis) of Christ’s Passion and Resurrection.

Are you serious?
Sadly, yes. The SDA also believe that we will go to sleep when we die.

Fine. Would not Jesus, having a human nature - inseparable from His Divine nature, also have slept when He died? So why then does scripture teach that Christ preached the gospel to the dead? (1 Peter 3:18-20, 1 Peter 4:6) First, He must have been sleeping, then His audience must also have been asleep.

Nonsensical.

It’s easy to follow Ellen Gould White’s teachings if you actually believe that she was a prophet - like Muhammad, or Joseph Smith, or Charles Taze Russell.

Wrong! Sunday Morning, Or the first day of the week. Says So in Scripture. XX

Merry Christmas!!

There is no recorded activity tantamount to prohibited acts. The women and the other disciples who reportedly went to the tomb did not do anything prohibited.
They were intending to anoint and embalm a dead body. They were women, walking by themselves without male companions, on the public road, with the intention of doing this.
The walking to Emmaus is not a problem either. Was it well within a sabbath day’s journey (15 furlongs) allowed by the Pharisees? We knew the distance from Jerusalem to Emmaus is 60 furlongs, but we are never told where the walk started. It could be that they started from a place the distance of which will take the time needed to walk a sabbath day’s journey until the sun sets yet bringing them close to the village.
We know that they ran from Emmaus to Jerusalem the same day, after supper, to tell the disciples that Christ had risen from the dead.

I’m amazed at how you so readily forget you were the one who first used the word ‘probably’.
And how sure are you, you do not lie about me in your statement?
So what point are you driving? That because of the earthquake Christ resurrected?
 No. Rather, because of the Resurrection, there was a small earthquake.

Jesus shook the earth when He arose from the dead. (Probably displaced the earth from the roof of the grave when He stood up, or made it cave in when He stretched out His arms, or when He began to walk.)
