The name of the organization the OP is referring to is “Christians Evangelizing Catholics.” Jackson, the founder, is one of many who do not think Catholics are Christians.
If that’s the case, please excuse my ignorance. My appologies, Lisa.

Attacks against Catholic doctrine- Apologetic skills-forced to know the back ground of oir faith- sounds like endless subjects/issues. Why not just find the truth?
For example, the “bad Poopes” narrated by historical events, and of course the fundametalistic way to interprete the events with scripture as the performing stage!!
Sounds scary, isnt? How about doing some research to find out who was the first pope to mess things up, like Peter the Apostole! After he had been chosen by Christ, he is told how bless he is for the answer given. Then, a few lines down Peter is told how evil he is acting, and to top it all up Peter goes on to deny our Savior;not one ti
e but three! The conclusion could be our human imperfection as part of our nature. And this could apply fro
the Apostoles to our latest Pope.

Zeal for my Father’s House consumes me. I will not apologize. I will defend Her until death.

Organizations bent on slander should be met head on.

The Truth must be defended so that it may stay intact for the next generation and all of humanity!

Yes, Truth should be defended. But remember to do so with love. We want converts, not enemies.
The Church & the Truth it holds to will remain, not because of our efforts, but because Jesus promised it would - Matt. 16:18.

Prudence is also virtue to practice. Read Matt. 10:14. Some fights are won by backing off.

Whoa! There is a man out there with what seems to be a full time mission “evangelizing” Catholics. How insulting. Bill Jackson’s not as big as Chick or Mission to Catholics but he has the same world view. Dr. Jackson even has a whole chapter devoted to him in Mr. Keating’s classic “Catholicism and Fundamentalism”.

He has a many “facts” on his website disparaging the Catholic faith. I browsed his “Noble Army of Heretics” link and was dismayed to read his view of history. Apparently any group of people outside of the Catholic Church are considered forerunners to Baptists, no matter what they believed, as long as they didn’t obey Church authority.

He has a “Catholic Apologetics” page which gives example after example of out-of-context quotes from our good friends Karl Keating, Scott Hahn, and others.

How do you deal with a man like this? Is he worth debating? Or is it a lost cause? The deceptions about the Church that are disseminated by men like Dr. Jackson, Jack Chick, and others make me sick.
I think your title of this thread is a misnomer. We Catholics are also "Christian. Perhaps it should have been “Other denominationl members evangelizing Catholics”., or similar. I am saying this not to accuse or abuse, but having just read a post about whether we are Christians, or not, I had to give my two cents.🙂

Back to the issue…does anyone know of Catholic source(s) where I could purchase something similar to what CA publishes about Salvation, but in reference to Biblical scriptures, instead of only mainly early church father quotes, in bulk? Maybe CA has something but I am missing it on the web site search.

You are right Annie. And I am honing up on my scriptural references that defend my belief. Right now, the best I can think of is something in the Bible says this and something says that…but I can’t remember the exact versus. I recently acquired Patrick Madrid’s “Where is that in the Bible,” to help me out.

Part of me feels like spenign the weekend hanging out by the manger scenes at the Baptis Churches and ask if they are falsely worshipping statues, as I have heard so many times before!!!
150 Bible Verses Every Catholic Should Know by Patrick Madrid.
I just read the book and thought it was wonderful. Now I need to go back and read all the other scripture references he mentioned in the book. I think you will like it. Take care.

Key words:

Once one catches ingenious works and ‘out-of-context’ or ‘proof-texting’ it should say a lot about the individual. He or she has to LIE,PERVERT and TWIST information in order to win converts?

Game over! We win:egyptian:

Had you read all the posts, you would have seen that this was already discussed. Please see my reply, post #22.

The title is misleading. I stand by my statement. Although the OP is talking about an organization, at first glance that is not apparent.

The title is NOT misleading. It is you that have failed to do your part to correctly interpret the OPs meaning. Chill.

The website is black with blood red font, to make you think Catholics are going to hell.
My friend sent me a link and wanted me to contact her friend who works with them. WTH? I laughed at the website which was downright ludicrous.

Somebody googled Jackson’s name and what came up was a 6 year old CAF post?? LOL!

I think it’s safe to assume this fellow isn’t exactly setting the internet world abuzz with his, urm, “factual inaccuracies” about catholicism…
