The most significant social event of ther nation is Christmas and Christmas season…retailers would fold shop if that ended. There maybe a lot PC junk being tossed around, yet Christmas is NOT going anywhere. Stop and think about this matter…93% of U.S. citizens celbrate Christmas and each year many of those people ask themselves what the real meaning of Christmas is…they ceelbrate Jesus’ birthday even if they do not know it.

Nope–it is not going anywhere.

Other battle zones include Ten Commandments monuments, God in the Pledge of Allegiance, stigmatizing the Boy Scouts, advances of the culture of death, and attempts to impose homosexual marriage by judicial fiat (thus undoing the morality of both Sinai and Bethlehem).
All this is true.
I am fortunate, this year, to be living in a very small town. (4000 people)
Here we will be having a town Christmas tree lighting with Christmas carols being sung and Merry Christmas is being heard everywhere on the lips of everyone on the street.
What a joy compared to all the large cities I’ve lived in where there is barely a mention of Christmas anywhere.
As an aside, I’ve noticed that among the ads on tv for “holiday” this" and “holiday” that, Macys is using the word Christmas in all it’s commercials.
Were I shopping this year for gifts, I know to what store I would be going!

I went to a concert this weekend – it was given by a symphony association (not a religious or church group). It was called a “holiday concert”, but the music was 100% sacred Christmas music, even the sing-along portion! This was in a city, not a small town. 🙂
