It seems people can’t read. I asked, honestly, which choice of clothing conceals the private areas of the woman’s body better? Not in an x-ray manner either, sheesh.
I asked to disregard the shoulders and back of the dress as I only posted that one because it was the only one I could find of the chest being properly covered and a back shot.
I posted pictures taken from Lane Bryant - a self described plus-sized clothing store. The models are plus sized as per their job description, not according to my opinion!
I did not ask which one would be more tempting - just simply, which looks nicer and which conceals the private areas of the body? And I’m sorry to say, most plus sized women, most women actually, do not dress in a way that takes that into account. That is a picture of pants that fit, that’s what your rear looks like in pants that fit, i.e. unless you’re wearing a tunic length top, I can see your thighs and bumm in an unflattering way!

Wow—didn’t know the anti-pant fanaticism was encompassing the FSSP too. Well–if you decide to attend Mass with your brother and his family-- suggest a dress/skirt. If you show up in a pant-suit–some people at Mass might look at you as if you grew horns.
And this has got to be one of the most ignorant comments I’ve ever seen!
NO ONE at an FSSP parish who is sane will care if you wear pants to Mass! Many women do, and usually if they stick around awhile, they begin wearing skirts out their own conviction. Really! No one forces them!
I really wonder what is with the trolls on this board who lay in wait to pounce on anyone with a traditional mindset. No one wonder I rarely come here.
