No, the issue is that if one does not know what he/she is talking about, one should refrain from posting (or from posting with a certain attitude). At least, that is the way it works, even in the secular world. How much more should this apply in a field where things are rooted in twenty centuries of tradition and on a legitimate teaching authority discerning what is proper and what isn’t?
When users step in and pass judgments which set aside both the tradition and the statements of the teaching authority, that can lead to no good. Surely one may disagree to some extent with the teachings of the Church, but there is only so much one can do before this slips into a behavior that is not proper for Catholics.
I recommend more reading on the Sacred Tradition (which, as we all should know, is one with Sacred Scripture) so perhaps one day all may also be able to sustain their arguments with a few quotes from the people who built the Church, rather than solely with thin air

But while I hardly see people taking the worship of Our Lady too far (with a few exceptions, ex. those who insist on certain recent apparitions despite the negative opinion of the Church, which is disobedience in my view), every time I am confronted by those who simply oppose any sort of veneration of Our Lady no matter how hard you try to explain, all it comes to mind is Ezekiel 12:2

iloveangels, I may have overlooked these “legitimate but different views” while trying to answer brb3’s posts. What are these “legitimate but different views” on the Queen of Angels that you are talking about?
There’s nothing better, especially when such views include calling Sacred Tradition “hysterical devotional stuff” and referring to some writings of a Doctor of the Church as a “cult”.
