If there have been allegations wouldn’t the police be involved and wouldn’t an investigation be public record?

One really troubling thing about the SSPX. They are not bound by the Charter for the Protection of Children as the dioceses are.

According to the article the police are involved and more or less told CM to stop because they were still investigating.

Well the article states that the police are involved but do we have independent source that the police are indeed involved.

I ask because I genuinely don’t know if police investigations of this nature are public record.

Well, good point. I do not know that. I did not read all of the article because I rarely read anything at CM, so it might not be true that the police are involved. It could be another one of their false statements.

Yes, I don’t read ChurchMillitant either.

The problem is that, unlike heterosexual priests, homosexual priests can be attracted to each other and if this happens they can form emotional attachments which lead them to cover up each other’s failings. Example: priest A has a consensual relationship with priest B. Unfortunately priest B is not just homosexual but also an abuser. Priest B gets complained about and it happens that priest A is in a position to help him because he is now a bishop or advises the bishop.
That can happen regardless if someone is romantically attached to an individual or not. I don’t see what sexuality has to do with corruption.
You see how the cover up problem is magnified among homosexuals? That is why 80 percent of church abuse is homosexual, when in the secular world it is no more likely to be homosexual than heterosexual.
The abuse is due to pedophilia and related diseases, not sexual orientation.

It can happen; but an abuser who is desperate will resort to desperate measures including blackmail by threatening to reveal his sexual past with a bishop. This can only happen between homosexuals.

I hardly think a very specific instance of blackmail is enough to condemn the notion of gay priests. The Church should be focused on rooting out abusers, not chasing shadows in regards to the LGBT.

Michael Voris is not the superior or judge of those clergy. God did not give him that role or right. - It is not for us to air the dirty laundry of the clergy for the world to see. There are proper channels for such things.
I don’t think he is claiming to be a judge; he is simply revealing what appears to have been dealt with by shunting a priest elsewhere

If they won’t clean their laundry in private it has to be done in public.
There are ways to go about it and ways not to. Watching the Twitter war comments that are still going on, there appears to be more to this than just the sex abuse. I don’t know their motives, nor can I read their hearts but some of their comments are still focused on the canonical status of the SSPX, which should not be part of the focus.
