Church of Ireland Parishes ask for Full Communion With the Catholic Church

400,000 - there are around 90 million Anglicans in the world - that is less than one half of one percent of them not embracing secularism and gay marriage and other things. It is a sad testament to the collapse of Chrsitianity.
Depends on which way you usually look at things. The glass is either half empty or half full. I myself would rather say that the glass is half full.👍
 
These “Church of Ireland” parishes are not part of the Church of Ireland.
They still seek unity, and split from those wanting to ordain women as Priests, which will probably be more frequent worldwide as Rome refuses to shift on the demands of popular opinion.

I would consider this a good thing. I would say they’re more Anglican than most in the Anglican Commuion, which means they’ll probably be better Catholics.

Let’s look at this in simple terms:
  1. They weren’t Catholic before.
  2. They want to be Catholic now.
  3. We should be happy. /cheers

Wonderful news, it´s good reading good news from the Isles and from Europe about conversions, they are are and they are stunning. Good, very good.
