Since your location is North of Iraq, have you met or seen Christian Iraqis [Chaldean] migrating to your area?

It is very sad and unfortunate the systematic persecution of Christians in the Middle East, specifically in Iraq.

Pope Benedict condemns the violence against Christians in his World Day of Peace 2011 message, an excerpt:

hi my friend. actually im in iraq. but you would have to go further north than where im at to find the Christian communities. they cannot even complain when they are attacked, because this would just bring more problems from the muslim community here. they really have no rights. most are leaving the country. we also have the sabiens here. these are the spiritual descendants of John the Baptist. they are an even smaller persecuted minority here. its a miracle there are any left. Peace 🙂

I hope that what happaned in Iraq never ever hapens in my country Egypt.

I never said that they killed any one. But they rioted and terrified the city for a whole day . If it was Muslims doing this in Europe because they didnt get the permit of building a mosque every body on this forum would have been up in arms over ‘‘muslim barbarism’’.

Benedict… this was not a small protest… the city of Giza was nearly pralalyzed for a day because of this The Photos i provided is just couple of photos of some damages. There were 15 ecurity forces injured and one coptic demonstrator dead. They used molotov bottles among many other weapons
somehow, from the photos i have seen this is not the case meedo. if there were hundreds of protesters, then how about some photos reflecting that. moltov cocktails?..ooooh im scared. i would almost bet the area was parylyzed due to the fact, that the security forces, closed it down, so less people would witness their heavy handed approach.

It is true about theology…especially when Islam considers itself the definer of Christianity.

But we need to speak out against the injustices done by Islam to the Christians and other human beings…I backed out from discussing too much of my faith with Muslims. And we should explain to them why we believe the way we do in defending others. It is hard to separate sticking up for people and not sharing the values behind the defense of the sanctity of life…giving Christ the credit.
