Cincinnati Police Officer in Serious Condition

Sgt Bryce Bezdek with the Cincinnati PD was setting up stop sticks in a effort to end a high speed pursuit last Saturday. The suspect’s vehicle struck a pickup truck pushing it into Sgt Bezdek who was outside of his cruiser. Bezdek is now in serious condition.

Please keep him and his family in your prayers.

Accept me as your servant, and receive me under your protection, O Mother of mercies. And since you are with and know God better than anyone, deliver me from all temptations or obtain for me the strength to conquer them until death.

Merciful Lord of all, look with great love upon Sergeant Bezdek, who denied himself and placed himself at risk for the sake of others. May he offer his suffering up to our Blessed Lord Jesus as a penance and as a prayer. May his faith be enkindled by Your immense love for him. Grant him blessed healing of mind, body and spirit O Lord, and graciously hear the prayers of the faithful. I ask this through Christ, our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God forever and ever. Amen.
