How Hillary has “moved” to the center, it’s beyond me. Yeah, she “supports” the war. Really, all she’s done is kept quiet about things. When the Left (who undyingly supports her) rants and raves and becomes more shrill in everything they say, she doesn’t comment, lays low, and for this, she’s “moved” to the center??

When Durbin, compared our troops to Nazis, Stalinists, or PolPot’s thugs, she said nothing. In fact, when asked about it DAYS into the fiasco, she said “no comment”.

She calls abortion a “tragedy”, but her voting record speaks other wise.

Hardly “center”.
 
…i feel anyone with a heart has got to hurt for her loss.

…she is coping i guess the best way she knows how… i have not walked a mile in her shoes so i will be the last to comment on the rightness or wrongness of her expression…

I do know this… she is an american, paid a hell of a price for that priveledge, and to all those who disagree with her expression that’s your right too…

…i hope none of you will pay the same price she has paid and i hope you will allow her to suffer or grieve if you will, any way she needs to…

…i don’t think whipping her with a flag will give your distain for the way she is expressing herself any leverage…

all i see is a bunch of birds picking her to death…

…i know some will find comfort in trying to politicize her plea to the president.

i just don’t get it… keep picking…

Thanks for saying that so well. This poor woman has lost her son, for goodness sakes. I’m a little upset with some of what I’m reading here. This woman is an American who has a right to express her opinions, which may differ from our own. She is a grieving mother.

Well, that she may be a grieving mother…no one said she shouldn’nt grieve or express herself …but…we has and is being used…she needs and has our prayers.

You can say that lots of people are being ‘used’ by other interests. People say that about the pro-war factions as well. Some feel that 9-11 fueled patriotism and anti-terror frenzy was manipulated by people who wanted to invade Iraq for less than noble intents.

One is blatantly abvious and the other is just another unproven conspiracy theory. Guess which is which.

To make the most of her “15 minutes of fame” The sad part is that this time next year her “friends” will not even be returning her pnone calls. Menawhile her marriage will still be destroyed, her family still wont be talking to her and her son will still be dead.
 
Cindy Sheehan absolutely has the right to be heard, AND…

…with that right comes the responsibility for what she says, and that means she’s not protected from criticism. Critics have free speech too, you know.

No one is out to gag her right to embarrass her son’s family. It is perfectly ok, however, to point out that she is embarrassing her son’s family.

Yes, you can tell she is mad, when she uses language that would make anybody blush. That is entirely uncalled for. I guess since the left-wing has taken up her cause, anything goes. She is doing our troops more harm than good. I believe the insurgents (terriorists) in Iraq are watching every move she makes. All they have to do is hang in there, and people like her will make this war a complete waste of lives, just like they did in Viet-Nam.
