Clinton: Chinese 'human rights can't interfere' with other crises

It might be hard to believe but Obama and Hilllary have made it official: defeating the abuse of human rights in China is no longer a primary concern.

"BEIJING, China (CNN) – U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton broached the issue of human rights with Chinese leaders Saturday, but emphasized that the world economic and other crises are more pressing and immediate priorities.

“Human rights cannot interfere with the global economic crisis, the global climate change crisis and the security crises,” Clinton said in talks with China’s foreign minister."

So it is now official. The love of money is now held as more important than the freedom of worship for millions of Chinese with the full support of the US government.
 
I cringed when I saw that, too. I actually take a lot of inspiration from the Church in China–if you think about what these poor souls are suffering through to be in Communion with our Church. What incredible faith they must have—we should always remember the Church is worldwide, not just here in America. We should pray for them daily.

Despite the Iraqi war, the irony is that some of the worst atriocites that have ever occurred have been under the Democrats’ administration. I don’t know where the party gets the image they are concerned with human rights.

At least Hilary is being upfront and honest about it. Basically, the attidude is “we don’t care about you at all–but please just make certain that you still make your cheap products that you ship over to America so we can have affordable goods and our economy won’t collapse!!”
 
So “human rights” and “compassion” were just a political issues the Democrats were using to gain political power.

No surprise there. They can continue to be “compassionate” to women who want abortions here.
 
Why should this be a surprised? If they truly cared about human rights, they wouldn’t support abortion. If the unborn can’t get even the basic right to life in their eyes, then how will those living get a chance for human rights in their eyes?

What’s surprising - even astounding - is that this new policy has flown right past us, with very few headlines and virtually no public or private objections. It’s stunning to me.

Madame Secretary’s husband helped fund forced sterilizations and forced abortions overseas. President Obama has recently reinstated the same policies that led to these American-funded human rights abuses.

Should this really be that surprising?

The media is biased, no surprise there.

But, when Pope Benedict XVI does something that could possibly make the Church look bad, the media jumps on it.

Reminds me of when the media quickly reported (without confirming facts) that Sarah Palin didn’t realize that Africa is a continent based on a rumor which turned out to be from a spoof website.

And why should this suprise us? They both believe that murdering babies is a good thing. Bill has given them our national secrets. So now what?

Whether it’s recognized and criticized or not, this stance is a brand-new version of national policy toward other nations (esp China) that are well-known for human-rights abuses.

Clinton’s message from Obama is not a continuation of “bad business as usual.” It is the turning of a radical corner in the history of the USA. Ignore it at your own risk.

Since BHO took office he has created “change” each and every day. Am I surprised? NO. BHO has no respect for life or human rights unless it is his ow life and right. Not having expected BHO to be open in means I am not surprised in his Audacity of Change.

I and many others I know knew what this man was capable of doing and he is now keeping his promises to the culture of death.
 
One can HOPE and PRAY that those who voted for the new administration will wake up to the SHOCK of how quickly and how radically the foundations of this nation are being changed.
