I given my current time, had only the moment to skim over the first three pages, I would like to congragulate you Voco pro Tatiano. I have not the time (or more specificaly the will:p ) to take on such a project myself yet, I, as a fellow Latin novice, would like to give you praise for your efforts.

I am not, and never was qualified for the task, but it is one no other will take up.
I believe that the Latin Diatessaron is the best witness to Tatian’s latest edition of his work, and I believe, that in its original vorlager, now lost, the works of Justin Martyr, are actually the best witnesses of the Gospels.
Indeed, it is quite clear that much of tyhe Gospels has been extracted from the Diatessaron.
For instance, it is now generally accepted that the Gospel of John has been grossly muddled. That is, the sections which it comprises, are now not in their original order.
The order in which these sections are put in the Diatessaron, is at least in good chronological order, and, in better concord
with what is now the postulated original order.
You might look at the first posting in this thread for a hint on how I came to be in this position.
Incidentally, as I complete re-examining Luke, leaving only John to re-examine, I find that the Bibliothek in Sangallen has made the manuscript of Sangallen 56 available on line.
This is the primary source that Sievers used, which though is not actually the Codex Fuldensis, it is purported to be a faithful copy of the Gospel therein.
I am now in a position to present this manuscript, in excerpt, with my simplified translateion, modified to exactly relect the original format.
Yet another task is presented to me, just when I am ready.
