Our prolife chairman reminded us of the long history of knights defending those who could not defend themselves. He said by participating we would defend the unborn and the women who would be out after dark in a not very safe place. In my GK report I say that the most important work we do is praying to Our Lady at the abortion mills. I propose that we do more good in one rosary at the mill than all the breakfastes throughout the year which financially support abortion alternatives. However turnout was not what I had hoped, but it is a start. I think many like to work on events that have immediate return (e.g. $1000 check delivered to a home for mothers). I suggested that at our particular judgement we would see how many lives (possibly souls?) our prayes had helpped save. I recently heard that it was suggested that the souls of the unborn stand in defense of those who fight abortion at their particular judgment. I will use that next year. Ultimately it is all according to God’s Holy Will, so the best thing I can do to encourage my brothers is to pray before the Blessed Sacrament.
The Supreme Council is a big supporter of this kind of event, and so should ever local council. They probably just need to be asked.
Also link up with other groups (e.g. Prolife committee/bible studdies) and councils. This is usually too big for one council to do.
Sorry for the late reply I am online rarely
