Yes, Abu Bakr Bagahdi was loved by Islam so much he couldn’t help but give back to all of society. 🙂

Yes you are right.

However we needed to learn how to advance from tribes to nation states and that was one of the main teachings of Muhammad the Ummah or nation.
Who is we? Also answer if Mohammed know Jesus died for all mankind? I

2 Cor 5: 11 Since, then, we know what it is to fear the Lord, we try to persuade others. What we are is plain to God, and I hope it is also plain to your conscience. 12 We are not trying to commend ourselves to you again, but are giving you an opportunity to take pride in us, so that you can answer those who take pride in what is seen rather than in what is in the heart. 13 If we are “out of our mind,” as some say, it is for God; if we are in our right mind, it is for you.

14 For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. 15 And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.

16 So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin** for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Of course Muhammad knew as He gave His Life also for us all.

Yeah and then mr loving muslim goes and rips the eyes out of the builder so he can’t build anything else. There is so much LUV coming from this guy it hurts!
This is listed everywhere as a myth. I wont be taking these myths as gospel truth unless hard historical evidence can back up and support these these claims.

Muhammad knew Jesus was crucified?
Of course.

Baha’u’llah even says this about Muhammad …

“As to the matter of names, Muhammad, Himself, declared: “I am Jesus.” He recognized the truth of the signs, prophecies, and words of Jesus, and testified that they were all of God. In this sense, neither the person of Jesus nor His writings hath differed from that of Muhammad and of His holy Book, inasmuch as both have championed the Cause of God, uttered His praise, and revealed His commandments. Thus it is that Jesus, Himself, declared: “I go away and come again unto you"

Excerpt From: Bahá’u’lláh. “The Kitáb-i-Íqán.” Bahá’í eBooks Publications,

“**Consider the sun. Were it to say now, “I am the sun of yesterday,” it would speak the truth. And should it, bearing the sequence of time in mind, claim to be other than that sun, it still would speak the truth. In like manner, if it be said that all the days are but one and the same, it is correct and true. And if it be said, with respect to their particular names “and designations, that they differ, that again is true. **For though they are the same, yet one doth recognize in each a separate designation, a specific attribute, a particular character. Conceive accordingly the distinction, variation, and unity characteristic of the various Manifestations of holiness, that thou mayest comprehend the allusions made by the creator of all names and attributes to the mysteries of distinction and unity, and discover the answer to thy question as to why that everlasting Beauty should have, at sundry times, called Himself by different names and titles.”

Are you reading the same scripture (given by the Church) I’m reading? Come now worldcitizen. What did Jesus say about himself? Maybe you’ve forgotten.

How and why do you bring Baha’u’llah into a question about Muhammad?

Of course.

Let’s get back with Islam. The Taj Mahal subject deals with Islam.

MJ

" The texts chosen refer broadly to the themes of judgment and fruitful paradisiacal rewards for the faithful. The inscriptions over the gateway invite the reader to enter the paradise. And as one enters towards the main mausoleum, the tone of the inscriptions changes from paradisiacal to that of an impending doom that awaits the unbelievers on the Day of Judgment. However, once inside the mausoleum, the tone of the inscriptions changes yet again from judgment to paradisiacal."

IF islam was a religion of love wouldn’t the inside of the Taj Mahal have scriptures from the quran of its idea on what love is?

Thanks for getting back to the subject of Love and the Taj Mahal.

Jimmy you will agree Islam loves. However it was Jesus who taught what is Love.

Meanwhile no Muslim has entered this thread to speak up. 🤷

I agree Martin. However, in my opinion love in islam can be elusive or vague.

That’s why we have the "invincible ignorance " stipulation by the Church. Muslims are most welcome to love. They deserve the dignity as human beings.

However we have to draw the line if at the expense of denying how Jesus loved when he gave his life for the world. That also means we must love Muslims more by “Letting them know we are Christians by our Love” 🙂

MJ

Muhammad’s message was not about love. Christ taught love mostly. But once love had been taught and the Bible come into existance it was not necessary to reveal another Bible about love from Islam.

Islam had to address other issues to advance civilisation. The Teachings of love are never separated from civilisation or Islam. All people even to this day learn love from Christians. That was part of humanitys education.

Just like you won’t find the law of Ummah or nation or self defense or freedom of religion in Christ’s Teachings so you won’t find love in the Quran as it has already been taught.

I think we’re comparing apples and oranges here.

If I may ask kindly.
What is the yardstick by which to judge whether 1.6 billion Muslims are a religion of love?

Isn’t this very subjective? What one person deems loving another says it’s not. So where do the clear goalposts stands here to determine if Islam is a religion if love and we need authoritative answers as subjective answers only confuse the issue.

I love a painting and another despises it. So how do we determine the truth.

Not really about apples and oranges. Ask any Muslim about Jesus.

MJ

So who speaks for Islam?

MJ
They don’t have anybody.

Each sect and each Mulla and scholar say they are right and the other ones are wrong.

There is no authoritative centre to which Muslims can turn.

Shiah’s have their interpretations and Sunnis have theirs and within these groups are other sects each with their own views and interpretations. Good luck getting an authoritative answer. And then their interpretations are only their own not from God so how to know they are right?

Until one Muslim comes in this thread. I wouldn’t know, till they tell me.

Loving a painting is connected to giving one’s life for his friend? I’m confused what you are trying to say.
