Mere prophet? Of course he wasn’t a mere prophet. He was a great prophet of Allah. Now you got it wrong, he is the Son of God, not some mere prophet.

If your definition of a True Prophet of the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob, is a messenger from a Loving, Ever-faithful, Promise Keeping God, then I believe Jesus our Lord and Saviour is indeed the Greatest Prophet of them all.Mere prophet? Of course he wasn’t a mere prophet. He was a great prophet of allah???.
… I’m really wondering …Why did muhammad died from eating poison that he didn’t know about?
Ummmmm…what’s the problem ?If u believe God Almighty can die , then why u wonder about the death of a human being ? Only God is immortal .
Why did Gabriel not know the will of allah?
I don’t know of anyone who believes God Almighty can die. Christians believe that Jesus’ human flesh died and was resurrected. I’m not sure why you and Amy have such a hard time understanding this.[Ummmmm…what’s the problem ?If u believe God Almighty can die , then why u wonder about the death of a human being ? You're off the context of my question. If your allah is AL-ALIM all knowing, then he should have warned your muhammad through jibrail about the poison.
Judging from your post, it seems that jibrail is an ill equipped “angelic” messenger of allah. Compare that to the St. Gabriel the Archangel of the Holy Scriptures where he knows what the message is all about and convey the message of God in a manner that the recipient of the message is advised in advance.Gabriel (pbuh ) is an angel & servant of God . They are NOT 2 in 1 God . So , it’s not possible for any angel or human to know about anything if Allah does not want him to know.
Jesus (pbuh) did not know when will be the last day , remember ??
page 265 Ibn Sa’d biography, the “Kitab al-Tabaqat al-Kabir”no idea about his praying . Can u post the prayer & the source ?
muslims believe that they will die then resurrected for judgment , but we never considered ourselfs godsI don’t know of anyone who believes God Almighty can die. Christians believe that Jesus’ human flesh died and was resurrected. I’m not sure why you and Amy have such a hard time understanding this.(Unless you do understand and are just trying to be sarcastic. :tsktsk: )
muslims don’t believe that he died by poison , bet let me suppose that he killed by poison for the sake of discussionYou’re off the context of my question. If your allah is AL-ALIM all knowing, then he should have warned your muhammad through jibrail about the poison.
If he send an angel to represent himself would he advise him what he will do in advance or say what the enemies of your prophet are plotting to do, after all your allah is named AL-MU’AKHKHIR—the greatest plotter. He must have known what the Jews are trying to do.
I was told by another Christian that Jesus (pbuh) was always God , even when he was in his mom’s womb. So , surely when he died , according to Christians belief , he was also God ? So , the point is if God can die , why Chrisitans wonder about death of a human being ?I don’t know of anyone who believes God Almighty can die.
Ragarding a hadith , Prophet (pbuh) felt the pain of the poison before his death . In a forum I read that thus Allah gave him the honour to die as a martyr. Anyway , it does not matter if he felt the pain of poison or not . Except God all must die. Quran does not say that he who dies from poison is a false Prophet .muslims don’t believe that he died by poison , bet let me suppose that he killed by poison for the sake of discussion
that’s why i trying to show flexibility by supposing that he dead by poison ,** In the name of Allah , the Most Gracious , Ever Merciful **

Yeah He died on natural causes–his heart refuse to pump blood.muslims don’t believe that he died by poison , bet let me suppose that he killed by poison for the sake of discussion.
You tell me, I’m pretty much convince he is less than a true prophet in our category.Does the Prophet’s Death from Poison Disprove His Prophethood Or Was It An Honorable Death For Our Beloved Prophet?![]()
No he died 3 months after he was poisoned. The Point is he didn’t die right away, he died months later, which denies him the title of being one of THE Prophets. Maybe to punish Him physically from all his treachery from the God who he denies to be the Redeemer of the world.if the Prophet did die from the poison right away then that does not disprove his Prophethood since the Jews had a history of killing Prophets…
Don’t go with this arguments because we can shut down your points right away. Don’t go comparing the Lord Jesus Christ cousin, John the Baptist with your prophet. You’re comparing the Whites with the Blacks in the Color spectrum they are way to far from each other.i think that you believe in the prophethood of john the baptist though he was killed by jews , tell me is that mean that he isn’t prophet because God didn’t warn him ?
I am not arguing against a Poisoned prophet, I’m asking why didn’t allah WARNED him? Is your allah the AL-MU’AKHKHIR the greatest plotter, plotted also against his most revered prophet?** In the name of Allah , the Most Gracious , Ever Merciful **

funny logic. Your own holy book teaches that Jews killed several Prophets (pbuh). By your logic , Jesus (pbuh ) as God failed to warned & protected them …huh.…I am not arguing against a Poisoned prophet, I’m asking why didn’t allah WARNED him?
I believe it is part of the Jewish prophetic duty. Be steadfast and unwavering even if you are denied by the same people you are trying to save.funny logic. Your own holy book teaches that Jews killed several Prophets (pbuh).
They knew all about it with all the hoopla that goes with it, including persecution and death. That’s why some tried to run away from this heavy burden.By your logic , Jesus (pbuh ) as God failed to warned & protected them …huh.
Indeed they are soooo fake.So , it proves those Prophets were fake , Jesus (pbuh) as God not only failed to save them but also failed to protect himself tsk tsk tsk.
**Now back to my question why didn’t allah forewarned his revered prophet of the poison that is mixed with the food he ate? Did **allah the AL-MU’AKHKHIR plotted against his prophet?36Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then **My servants would be fighting **so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm."John 18:36
Sorry, we must be having a language issue, because I don’t understand your post at all. Muslim Woman made a comment about God Almighty dying and I explained that Christians (nor anyone else that I know of) do not believe that God died. I’m not sure what assumption you think I’m making that is not valid.muslims believe that they will die then resurrected for judgment , but we never considered ourselfs gods
if i supposed jesus really dead then resurrected then it dosn’t mean that he is God , your assumption not valid , sorry i believe that all human being will be die and will be resurrected
Resurrection of the Body
The Bible tells us that when Jesus returns to earth, he will physically raise all those who have died, giving them back the bodies they lost at death.
These will be the same bodies people had in earthly life—but our resurrection bodies will not die and, for the righteous, they will be transformed into a glorified state, freed from suffering and pain, and enabled to do many of the amazing things Jesus could do with his glorified body (cf. 1 Cor. 15:35–44, 1 John 3:2).
The resurrection of the body is an essential Christian doctrine, as the apostle Paul declares: “*f the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised. If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished” (1 Cor. 15:13–18).
Because, as Paul tells us, the Christian faith cannot exist without this doctrine, it has been infallibly defined by the Church. It is included in the three infallible professions of faith—the Apostles’ Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Athanasian Creed—and has been solemnly, infallibly taught by ecumenical councils.
The Fourth Lateran Council (1215), infallibly defined that at the second coming Jesus “will judge the living and the dead, to render to every person according to his works, both to the reprobate and to the elect. All of them will rise with their own bodies, which they now wear, so as to receive according to their deserts, whether these be good or bad [Rom. 2:6–11]” (constitution 1).
Most recently, the Catechism of the Catholic Church reiterated this long-defined teaching, stating, “‘We believe in the true resurrection of this flesh that we now possess’ (Council of Lyons II). We sow a corruptible body in the tomb, but he raises up an incorruptible body, a ‘spiritual body’ (cf. 1 Cor 15:42–44)” (CCC 1017). catholic.com/library/Resurrection_of_the_Body.asp*
There is more to Jesus’ Divinity than JUST His Death and Resurrection - (if that was what you thought I was trying to say- that Christians believe He is God only because of that.)
His HUMAN FLESH died. God cannot die. I have absolutely no idea what you are trying to say. Do you honestly believe that Christians believe God Almighty can die?I was told by another Christian that Jesus (pbuh) was always God , even when he was in his mom’s womb. So , surely when he died , according to Christians belief , he was also God ? So , the point is if God can die , why Chrisitans wonder about death of a human being ?![]()
I also think part of the Muslim misunderstanding is that they think when Christians say “Son of God” they immediately think of human parent/child relationship and that God must have had a wife or had sex with someone to have an offspring which is obviously NOT correct.Ok , let’s agree that as a human , Jesus (pbuh) was not God but son of God . I heard about a debate between a Christian missionary & Indian Imam. Christian asked where was Allah when grandson of Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) was killed ? Ans of the Imam was that if God can’t save His only begotten son , then why u expect that He should have saved grandson of a Prophet ???
This is first of all a really offensive post. Because you’re accusing the Prophet Muhammad (saws) of fornicating (something which is haraam–forbidden–in Islam) first, and then of sodomy (which is also haraam–forbidden). How many women and girls does Mohammed both fornicate and have sexual relations with in the Koran? And, how many men and boys does he fornicate with in the Koran?
I only say this because I find this to make him a disreputable role model. I hope it isn’t slanderous. I hope he came to desire and know Christ on his death bed.
Are you saying that Muhammad did not have sex with any woman to whom he was not married, such as slave women, etc.?This is first of all a really offensive post. Because you’re accusing the Prophet Muhammad (saws) of fornicating (something which is haraam–forbidden–in Islam) first, and then of sodomy (which is also haraam–forbidden).
And the answer to both questions is without a doubt 0. Zero. None.
Please read the Qur’an, and see what is in it. Sexual history of the prophet Muhammad is not in it, and it’s not a history book about Muhammad in the first place.
So please read it, just for your own knowledge.
