I’m sure this has been done to death, but I didn’t see it on the first page here…so please forgive me if this has been covered ad nauseum 
I honestly go back and forth about how I feel about it. I mean, the bishops are right in saying that Catholic politicians should be denied communion if they support abortion. All of us should, and our priests have the right to withhold communion from us if we deviate from such important teachings of the Church.
But still, somehow, the Kerry business seems to be making the Eucharist something political. I don’t think Kerry should receive, and neither should any abortion-supporting Catholic,but I dunno…it just seems so political now.
