Dear Jennifer
I will email you those sripture quotes as promised because you want to understand this teaching. All here should try to understand Jennifer is here to learn because she wants to be catholic so give her a break and just try to help her please.
This based on an old post of mine. I hope it’s doctrinally correct because it’s how I see it-
We must see God as infinite and eternal Living Love to understand this. God is Love.
What I’m saying is that God is present entirely in every infinitesimal space within Himself. This is because He is infinite Love and every infinitesimal part of Him is infinite love. He is infinite and eternal Living Love. So no matter which part of God your in He is completely present there because infinite love is present there. This explains how God can be completely present in the finite eucharist. Is it not easy to understand? I know I’m talking about something completely foreign to us but it answers some serious questions I thought, and I thought a person of modest intelligence like mine could understand the concept pretty well.
Also, Jesus is God and you can’t separate the members of the Blessed Trinity so Jesus is completely present everywhere too. a mystery to us but true I think.
God is present everywhere but He is not the things in our world. He exists in them as He does everywhere but He is not them. I think that when the priest says the words of consecration the Holy Spirit transforms the bread and wine into the God who was already present in His entirety within the space occupied by the bread and wine. Because God is entirely present everywhere as said the entirety of God is present in any part of the consecrated bread and wine. The appearance of bread and wine is accidental once it’s consecrated. This means that while it looks, feels and tastes like bread and wine it is miraculously God. It remains God until it breaks down which is a few mins once consumed. It fills us with grace which is the living love of God and God Himself and is a pledge of eternal life when properly received. When we adore the consecrated bread and wine we adore God. This is why we bow before the tabernacle when the light is on indicating the hosts are in there.
Does this make sense dearest friend? I worked out much of this today and can’t see why it would not be an acceptable explaination. Someone who is an expert theologian can correct this if needs be.
God bless you and keep you always dear friend:thumbsup:

Hope your pets are enjoying th warm weather there too
