If your heart was sincere and pure, there would be no ambiguity. A sincere, pure and searching soul would seek local Bahais and enroll in a Baha’i institute program which will educate you in the means by which you can understand every single Word of this majestic Revelation.

Purity and sincerity…

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God" - Matt 5:8

“And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure” 1John 3:3

Another example of using the NT (skipping verses) and not seeing the full picture that everything deals with Jesus’ commandments.

world citizen,

what reasons do you find most substantive in supporting your belief that bab and bahaullah were sent to mankind by the One God?

signing off for today, back another day.
It’s a message of love from God telling us He wants us all to love each other and be like a family. The idea of one human family created by one God really attracted me a lot. Being able to embrace all humanity as brothers and sisters is awesome. No feelings of aloofness from any Faith or an aetheist. Being able to see the Face of God in everyone not just my religion really affecred my soul because I believe in oneness.

The Baha’is showed me unconditional love but it was the Writings of Baha’u’llah which made so much sense. I loved Baha’u’llah’s reasoning.

I read maybe 50 books many twice but my two favourites were then…

The Book of Certitude (5 times) and loved it more each time as it unravelled the mysteries of the Holy Books.

Thief in the Night - by William Sears

Hope this helps.

Eddie,

Where is the purity of heart and justice?

Baha’u’llah, like Jesus also had, relatively speaking, a very comfortable life as a child too!

For 40 years, He was confined, imprisoned, tortured and exiled, culminating in the most notorious prison on the planet in Akka.

Was that not enough for you?

You want to focus on the last few years of His life where His confinement was relaxed?

You can focus on what you wish dear brother, but please be fair 🙂

.
First is Jesus’ suffering and death and resurrection to reconcile Man with God.

However, countless souls today suffer in horrible circumstances. Have you seen the lastest news from the U.N. in Sudan?

Jesus didn’t have a comfortable life. Who told you this?

MJ

He said he had no time and then pasted from the website. That’s not research surely.

Dear Martin - I am very aware of the contents of the link, I had no time to explain fully, the link was self explanatory.

If people wanted clarification then questions could be asked.

No different than posting passages from the Bible, or pages of quotes from Catholic Sources.

I will answer what I can, but very busy at the moment, moving life from one country to another 😉

God bless your Faith always, Regards Tony

It is not “no different” than posting Catholic postings. Did you see what you posted? No spaces, no break up of verses. You can have atleast done that.

You must not have seen this example of Jimmy’s skipping verses a couple of pages ago:
Proverbs 16:18
Pride goes before disaster, and a haughty spirit before a fall.

I said it for you… 🙂

Reporting this.

MJ
Why?

You are asking me to go to RCIA. I have concerns. It’s not that I am not considering it. Show me that the fruits are beautiful.

All I see is judgmental comments against the Baha’is, and double standards (like the post above)…simply unfair…

Unfair double standards…

What concerns? Remember you told me that if you go for RCIA, you’ll irritate the teachers. Have you forgotten? Be more sincere. Please.

Nope. You’re confused with Jesus own words.

Servant, That was for your boastings. Goes to show you don’t know the Bible like you say you do

“You can show a Baha’i ANY VERSE from the Bible or Quran and we will be able to unlock the most profound aspect of the Truth contained within it. So profound in fact that you would likely not appreciate it.”

I will irritate the teachers because I will not accept some of the interpretations because it lacks reason.

I don’t see the rational basis for original sin, for Jesus partaking in the Essence of God, amongst other things.

If the responses at RCIA to these questions is going to be like what I have received from our friends in this thread, it will not be a positive experience for anyone. There has been ZERO respect for Baha’i beliefs in this thread, not a drop…

🤷

Don’t imagine and start doing. You haven’t shown that you made that effort to go for RCIA. Thus you already made a judgement that you will irritate the teachers. You haven’t shown that you made that effort to go for RCIA.

The lack of any charity towards the spirit of love contained in Baha’u’llah’s message is very distressing. It is not appreciated.

All the verses in the Bible have value in Baha’i interpretation, but that value of love is not appreciated at all in this thread. I am simply making a statement based on reality.

Show me ONE appreciation of Baha’i belief in this thread.

My first effort was to consort in a spirit of friendliness with my beloved Catholic friends.

I got called a follower of a demon.

How could I feel comfortable going to the home of people who believe this in me? This is SACRED, not some joke where speculations of evil can be flung around like cake patty. I am a human being who wants to be loved and to love, just like you.

Servant, You’re in CAF and if you looked up towards the upper left hand corner you’ll see " To explain & Defend the faith" .
What I’ve heard from the Baha’i was home we’re in error etc etc etc. I’m sorry but your recruitment won’t work on me
