where in the Scriptures does it say to use wonderbread and water? where does it say teenagers are supposed to pass it? Where does it say that you must recite the incantation over the water and bread perfectly or do it again?The trouble is that there is no scriptural basis for that.
Which doesn’t make make sense. The “one” sacrifice was offered “once,” and need not be offered again, in whatever guise you want to consider it:
Romans 6:
10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
Hebrews 7:
26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
27 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.
Hebrews 9:
25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
1 Peter 3:
18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit
The sacrifice was offered once, and once only, and need not be offered again, in any guise or shape or form again.
Which is nonsensical and unscriptural. Where does it say in the scriptures that the “same” sacrifice needs to be offered more than “once”?
Not only I don’t understand it, I don’t think you understand it. I don’t think that anybody does. I don’t think that anybody can. I find it even more difficult to see why it is so difficult for you to understand what the scriptures are saying on the subject.
But you “perpetuate” it, however you want to understand that. There is no scriptural basis for this. Where does it say that the sacrifice of Christ needs to be “perpetuated”? The word of the Lord is clear on that. The sacrifice was offered once, and the sacrament is in remembrance of that sacrifice, not a repetition, perpetuation, or reenactment of that sacrifice:
Luke 22:
14 And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.
15 And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:
16 For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
17 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:
18 For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.
19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
1 Corinthians 11:
23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:
24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
Why is it so hard for you to understand that?
The CoLDS way follows an angel who taught something different than was in scripture. The Bible teaches us that if an angel does that, the angel is from Satan. Do the math, then, about your communion and your church
