Sedesdomi:
And some Hindus worship on Monday.😃
That doesn’t count since they don’t know the one true God. 😛
I wouldn’t be so sure.😃
He is the God of forms infinite in whose glory all things are – smaller than the smallest atom, and yet the Creator of all, ever living in the mystery of His creation. In the vision of this God of love there is everlasting peace. He is the Lord of all who, hidden in the heart of things, watches over the world of time. The Gods and seers of Brahman are one with Him, and when a man knows Him, he cuts the bonds of death.

Krishna Yajur Veda, Shvetashvatara Upanishad 4.14-15. UPM, 91-92

You left out The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints which is also an Abrahamic Covenant Church that is not Protestant, Jew or Islamic but believes that they are Abrahamic as well.

**JlFuller, welcome. Please tell me a few things about your faith and practice, as follows: You have asked to be included in the religion with Abrahamic faith. Very Good idea. Give reply to each item separately please.
  1. Do your people circumsize the forskin of all males?
  2. Do you believe in Trinity?
  3. Do you believe that Jesus is God?
  4. Do you consume the flesh of swine?
I know it may be difficult to openly reply to all the questions. But they will help me understand a few things. I do not consider the Catholics as a religion hailing from Abraham. I do not know much about the Jews but it is hoped that they have a connection with Abraham. The Catholics have broken off that connection in many ways.

I do not know why the OP (Eucharisted) included the Catholics in his list of Abrahamic religions. To me the people who call themselves Catholics are not even on the path of Jesus son of Mary. They are not on the path of Moses. How could they be counted in the list of Abrahamic religions. **
  1. Some of those in our faith do although it is not required.
  2. Not the same way most of Christianity does. We believe in God, the Eternal father, in his son Jesus Christ and in the Holy Ghost. Three separate personages who are one in purpose.
  3. I would have to understand your definition of “God” to correctly answer this question. The answer is unfortunately complex but we believe him to be the God of Abraham.
  4. We do eat pork.

**Jash, Thanks for informing.
  1. Circumcision is not a must in mormons. That was a major part of the covenant with Abraham.
  2. You believe in Trinity, because you have the eternal father, the son (Jesus) and the holy ghost. So that completes your belief in Trinity.
  3. You said 'We believe him ( i.e. Jesus ) to be the God of Abraham. In other words, Jesus is the God of Abraham. So Jesus is the God of all things.
  4. You do eat pork. Very good. That takes you at a good distance from the Jews and Jesus.
I did not pass any remark (except in the last, #4). It is useful to know about the mormon beliefs. I do not see any difference between mormons and catholics except may be in marriage matters or extra new claims by Joseph Smith.**

Quite incorrect, as usual.

Let’s start with definitions:
Islam–means willful submission to God.
Muslim–means the person who willfully submits to God.

Allah–Arabic name for God, the name He calls himself in the Qur’an, so the name preferred by Muslims
Qur’an–Uncreated speech of God. It is not God, it is not a god, but it is the Speech of God.
Muhammad–a human being, created by God, called to be a Prophet and Messenger.

There is nothing equivalent to God in Islam. Qul huwa Allahu ahad…
De yure basis, you are telling what other muslims tell. De facto basis not the case.

may i ask why you do not consider Catholicism as a religion hailing from abraham?
how have the Catholics broken off that connection in many ways as you state in your post? please explain. how are Catholics not even on the path of Jesus?

i read the letter in your link called “As Arabs See the Jews”. it is a well composed letter by someone making a passionate plea. for many of us who were not alive then, it is hard to understand how life was in that area of the world. for those of us born after WWII, our perception of the middle east is based on how we have known it to be since Israel was allowed to exist. reading this letter did make me aware of some things that i had not considered before. however, since that letter was written, a lot has happened between the Arabs and the Jews. many conflicts. 60 more years of history.
will there ever be peace between the followers of the abrahamic religions? i pray someday that there will be peace and all 3 religions will be able to share the heritage of the Holy Land without conflict. 🙂

The reason for the breaking of connection is non-circumcision which was an everlasting covenant of God with Abraham. See genesis 17:9-14

**9 Then God said to Abraham, “As for you, you must keep my covenant, you and your descendants after you for the generations to come. 10 This is my covenant with you and your descendants after you, the covenant you are to keep: Every male among you shall be circumcised. 11 You are to undergo circumcision, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and you. 12 For the generations to come every male among you who is eight days old must be circumcised, including those born in your household or bought with money from a foreigner—those who are not your offspring. 13 Whether born in your household or bought with your money, they must be circumcised. My covenant in your flesh is to be an everlasting covenant. 14 Any uncircumcised male, who has not been circumcised in the flesh, will be cut off from his people; he has broken my covenant.” **

As far as i know you people have broken the covenant. But you know better. I will not argue with you for that. The words of the bible speak for themselves.

THE LAND OF CANAAN SHOULD BE A PLACE OF PEACE AND RECONCILIATION FOR ALL TRUE RELIGIONS

…The call of Muslims to Jews and Christians is revealed thus in the Qur’an:
“We believe in what has been sent down to us and what was sent down to you. Our God and your God are one and we submit to Him.” (Qur’an, 29:46)

…Muslims have faith in all of the prophets which have been sent. They believe in the holy books sent to people by prophets in the past. One verse of the Qur’an explains this as follows:

Say, “We believe in God and what has been sent down to us and what was sent down to Abraham, Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the tribes, and what Moses and Jesus and all the prophets were given by their Lord. We do not differentiate between any of them. We are Muslims submitted to Him.” (Qur’an, 3:84)

Prophets Adam, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Joseph, Aaron, David, Solomon, John, Jesus, and Moses (peace be upon them all) are as important to Muslims as they are to Jews and Christians.

…All the sacred places and the homes in which the name of God is remembered are under the protection of our Lord. The obligation of the believers is to protect these places where God’s name is remembered and believers worship to gain the pleasure of God. God tells us in the Qu’ran:

Those who were expelled from their homes without any right, merely for saying, “Our Lord is God” (if God had not driven some people back by means of others, monasteries, churches, synagogues and mosques, where God’s name is mentioned much, would have been pulled down and destroyed. God will certainly help those who help Him - God is All-Strong, Almighty). (Qur’an, 22:40)

…God willing, within a very short time better and brighter days will come when all Christians, Muslims and Jews will live in brotherhood…

God has promised those of you who believe and do right actions that He will make them successors in the land as He made those before them successors, and will firmly establish for them their religion with which He is pleased and give them, in place of their fear, security. They worship Me, not associating anything with Me. Any who disbelieve after that, such people are deviators. (Qur’an, 24:55)

Holy Spirit (pbuh) is the Creator of All ??? Is there any such verse in Bible ?
Thus we have always and everywhere God the Father, the Son of God who comes as Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. In the Orthodox Church we confess that these three are not three competitive gods, divided, and separated from each other. On the contrary we believe that the Father, who is the Source of all that exists, always has His Son and His Spirit who are not creatures, Who were not made like everything and everyone else, but Who exist eternally with Him; from, in and by His very own divine being.

Thus what God the Father is, the Son and the Holy Spirit also are, namely: eternal, perfect, good, wise, holy, timeless, spaceless … divine and worthy of the title GOD.

We believe as well that each of the three divine persons is divine in his own unique way, yet always living and acting in the perfectly absolute unity of the divine truth and love. Thus the Three are one not only because what they are is one and the same, but because their divine union allows of no separation or duality or division whatsoever.

Is there any such verse in Bible ?
Acts 5: 3-4
But Peter said: Ananias, why hath Satan tempted thy heart, that thou shouldst lie to the Holy Ghost, and by fraud keep part of the price of the land? Whilst it remained, did it not remain to thee? and after it was sold, was it not in thy power? Why hast thou conceived this thing in thy heart? Thou hast not lied to men, but to God.

** 2 Cor 3:17-18**
Now the Lord is a Spirit. And where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all beholding the glory of the Lord with open face, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Where is the verse that says holy Spirit was always there with God?
Instead of beginning your Islamic diatribe against the doctrine of the Holy Trinity, I suggest you study the doctrine first, and then start a thread regarding aspects that you do not understand. You will get very good answers from the people here.

Good day. :tiphat:

You’re going off topic, guys.

Muslim Woman, you are free to open a new thread to discuss the Trinity, and we would all be happy to discuss it with you. But this thread isn’t the place to do it since it is off-topic.
