You are me, I am in you. I am in everything. God in me, God in you. I am God, you are God. We are in the rainbow, we are in the sunshine, we are in the trash, we are in everything. From there love grows. Naturally
According to Tanith’s profile his/her religion is Wiccan.do you have a religion?
Wicca is only about 50 years old. Many people misconcepting Wicca into Witch. Actually, Wicca (or you may call “paganism”) is an old religion, pre Christian). We have a very simple conception, “Harm None”. Do you want to know more?
You should try reading the books it gives so much more depth to the story. But I do love the movies, I can watch them over and over. It’s a good site. Thank you Rayne. Cyber, you can learn alot there. And by the way, Rayne, I believe we share the same fondness to Tolkien, although sadly, I only watch his tremendeous movies, The Lord of The Rings series.
I have heard that myself and even my 10 year old noticed it. Tolkien insisted he wasn’t writing any religious alagory but in his writings it becomes obvious he was influenced by his Catholic beliefs. In the books even more so then the movie there is a very definitive line of good and evil. And also being merciful to those who have chosen the wrong path and believing that it is possible for them to change is even more clearly defined in the books. It’s alot of reading, but well worth it.And I somewhat believe that the episode of Gandalf return was really inspired by resurrection of Jesus in Catholic. Am I correct here?![]()
No, I’m aware that is Hollywood. I know in this day and age many are seeking spiritual fulfillment, and they are seeking it outside the traditional Christian faith. I could definately see how wiccan can be very enticing to those seeking fulfillment. It certainly is easy to see the beauty and the spiritualness of nature. And compared to other religious practices Wiccan has very little expectations from it’s members. Basically do what you will as long as you harm no one. (Ofcourse that can be subjective.)Cyber, it’s harmless. And Rayne, I hope you don’t think that we are somewhat like those beautiful witches in Charms.
