concern about mortal sin

Do not worry about the last post.
I have remembered something this happend at school and I want to find a right way to say it to the priest.
A few months ago some guy (My friend) was asking me wether I would “Do” Some girls I said yes and I said no to some.
Then after I did the same, I was asking the same guys and maybe a few others the question mainly was “would you do her?”
The “DO” Means as you know “Sex”.
What can I say to the priest which woud be the best way to say it and to be certian you have said the right thing?

Like would any of these be alright:
I said I would Have Sex with someone?
I talked about sex?

I talked about girls rudely or in an (name removed by moderator)olite way?
What are some better ways to say it?

There’s really no ‘right’ or ‘best’ way to talk about your sins as long as you’re not deliberately being incorrect or vague or confusing about things. This is why it’s important to prepare for confession well beforehand, so you can think about how best to talk about your sins.

Remember that you’re confessing to God, who knows and understands exactly what you did and what sins you’re thinking of without you saying a word. As long as you try your best to accurately state your sins you’ll do fine.

Personally, though (and remember this is just my opinion), I wouldn’t use the first one. ‘I said I would have sex with someone’ could mean that you said it TO that person.

And I’d say ‘immodest’, ‘impure’, or ‘unchaste’ (even ‘lustful’ if you like) rather than ‘rude’ or ‘impolite’ - which doesn’t make clear that there was a sexual element to the conversation.

You could just say ‘I talked about girls in a sexual way’.

What’s your point? concern about mortal sin or what?
Remember, one mortal sin is enough for a soul to be in Hell.
If you are concern of mortal sin confession is not enough but you have to avoid doing it. Sin is always be an inviting thing to do but in the end it will bring you to condemnation. Don’t forget that you have only one life to live and you have only one soul to save beyond that is eternity. (In Hell or in Heaven)

Yes I sam worried that when I go to confession I might say something that is wrong and I wont be forgiven for it.
And Me Being nervous to say this, Im worried If I say this the priest might get angry at me.
to get this out of my mind Im planning to say the following:
I talked sexually about girls
I said I would have sex with girls at my school and other girls when my friends asked me.
I asked my friends and others at school if they would have sex with girls at my school and other girls.

I think if I say that I will get it of my mind because I know it explains it.
what do you think If I say that would the priest get angry.
What I wrote above is it Ok to say?

look… its a huge, huge privilege to be able to go to confession. are you aware of this…? try to think about it.

Other sins to consider in the context of “talking about having sex with a girl (or several) with whom you are not married” is having

• lust in your heart. Jesus says that if you have lust after someone then its a grave sin in itself… He looks much deeper than the action and into the heart of man.
• speaking foul about other human beings. We are all created in the image and likeness of God. A woman is not to be used and thrown away. If you objectify a person and does not see a human being’s dignity in herself, then that again is much graver than lust of the flesh.
• leading others to sin. this might be the worst. for whom ever you speak to, you have a responsibility. the Gospel says that whoever leads some one to fall, it would be better for that person if he had never been born. When you consent to speak like you did with your friend -playing smart - that friend might go and indulge in sin thinking: “x does it as well… everybody does this, its normal and its cool…”. You see … you have a responsibility.
  Get down on your face in front of God and ask Him to reveal everything to you… ask Him to make you humble.

It worries me that you speak so much on the formula of words… how to express your self… but little about your heart.
Jesus died for you, brother… He suffered and died. He loves you. Do not sin… not because of the embarrasment in the confessional or because of fear of hell… strive to be good because you and everyone else are so tremendously loved… Why would you want to hurt this Love…

I will go to confession and say every thing I think I should say even if it sounds bad but I just dont feel right like trying to find a shorter way.
I will say everything even that I had Lust for a guy,
It will be hard but?
Im nervous especially about this one but I guess it needs to be said.

No I have never engaged in same gender sex.

Just go to confession and talk to the priest as you would a friend. You confessed to a world of forum people that you don’t even know. Having homosexual feelings does not necessarily mean that you are a homosexual. Our sexuality is very fluid and thoughts of many kinds may run through our minds at different times. What matters is what you do with those thoughts.

Go and see a priest and just tell him all these things. I am not a priest but if you were to come to me I would not be shocked or mad. How could I be?? I am weak and I sin. So do the priests. We are all here to help each other out. That is precisely why Christ gave His Aposltles the authority to forgive or retain sin.

Just calm down and resolve not to commit those sins again. Go to a priest and don’t worry about the correct phrasing of your sentences. Worry more about telling God how sorry you are for offending Him and then move on.

If you have something in your thoughts that just keep on poping in which you don’t like, it might be the (name removed by moderator)ut from the other side (what I mean from the devil). The devil could manipulate your thoughts ang can give suggestions but remember they cannot read your thoughts. So if you follow there (evil) suggestions then you will be inslave with them. And they keep on doing it for they knew that it is your weak point.

I recommend you to fight for them. IT IS YOUR SPIRITUAL BATTLE WITHIN YOURSELF. Pray the Archangel Michael’s prayer. You have to expel them from your thoughts in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Everytime they will pop in to your thoughts you have to tell them within your thoughts “IN THE NAME OF JESUS I COMMAND YOU TO LEAVE AND GO TO THE FOOT OF THE CROSS” repeat these in many times. They are the evil spirirt of lust and of sexual desire. They will treaten you to be scared but nobody could harm you if God is with you, no one.

I’m worried about your word that your saying, it’s not you… SO STAND AND FIGHT FOR GOD IS IN OUR SIDE.

I see a Girl or Lady walk past I thought she looked beatiful (Good Looking) but I had no sexual type of thoughts but I still got that reaction when guys see a Good Looking girl the reaction downstairs…

If you have a sexual desire just by looking or by imagining thats a LUST. Attraction could be a things, you could be attracted to one thing, attraction without any sexual desire is not lust but if you have a sexual desire it is always be considered as lust. You commit adultery by looking with a woman with your lustful thoughts, Remember, adultery is a mortal sin. You have to help your self or else no one can. Don’t be so stupid to be always a victim of evil desire within your self. We as believer and a baptized Catholic we have all the means to fight and to prevent all kinds of evil.

If you want to avoid lust or masturbation:

1st - Set ten minutes aside everyday for mental prayer

2nd - Start fasting apart from Friday

3rd - Find a priest who you believe you can talk to comfortably

4th - Recognise that it will be very difficult in the beginning, and that it is a good sign. You are uprooting one of the deepest roots of sin within you, and the Devil will put up a fight.

5th - Do not be afraid.
