In that case, my recommendation would be:
To avoid rash judgment, everyone should be careful to interpret insofar as possible his neighbor’s thoughts, words, and deeds in a favorable way: “Every good Christian ought to be more ready to give a favorable interpretation to another’s statement than to condemn it. But if he cannot do so, let him ask how the other understands it. And if the latter understands it badly, let the former correct him with love. Never said anything bad about children or people with children… You on the other hand have likened animals to plants, demanded others explain their feelings towards their pets etc.

Firstly, it seems like for you it’s okay to make certain comparisons between animals and children but it’s not okay to make certain comparisons between animals and plants.(?)
Children, animals and plants are all fundamentally different. Comparing behaviour within each group with another does not make much sense to me. That’s my point. If we delve into the comparisons, you will see.

Secondly, you made a claim that humans aren’t capable of unconditional love and I asked you a simple question regarding what conditions you believe have to be in place for a woman to love her child for instance. Rather than answering the question, you switched to something else.

Thirdly, I didn’t demand that people should explain their feelings towards their pets etc. I don’t know how you are reading and interpreting my posts.

I was going to respond to your post on the conditions for unconditional love when I had the time as it would have been a response needing more thought but I wont bother now. You have been gping off tangent with your views on people and their pets and animals. Anyway the OP is MIA.
