Lately, as I’ve been trying to learn more about the faith, I’ve been unsure about the relation between some of my actions/mindsets and my love for God.
For example, sometimes I feel like there’s something about the faith I should look a little more into, but would rather wait a bit. Either I have a lot of other work to do, or I’d just be more comfortable looking into it later despite having free time. I’d still like to think I have genuine intentions of growing in my faith, but I’m not sure if waiting would hinder my love for a God.
Tonight, for example, I had a lot of work to get through and planned on looking a bit more into some things about the faith after I finished. Now, I’m feeling pretty tired and would rather look into these things tomorrow when I have more time…is this alright with God? I’d say the answer is yes, as he knows whether I want to actually improve, and would be more comfortable later…though I’d like to hear feedback to reassure my confidence. I don’t know for sure if I should be trying to condition myself to be more comfortable now, or if it’s fine.
