Confession when all the churches are closed?

Hey, just wondering what happens if you need to go to confession, but can’t because the churches are closed due to the Coronavirus?

Is there something else you can do on the interim?

There have been quite a few threads about this lately, you can skim through them using the search (🔍) function.

Bottom line is if making an appointment with a priest isn’t possible, make an act of perfect contrition, and go to confession as soon as you can once the epidemic is over.

FYI some dioceses have indefinitely banned priests from hearing confessions altogether (except in danger of death) so making appointments may not even be possible depending on where you are, for anyone else reading this thread.
