Confused. My bf threatened me and I don't know what to do?

As others have noted, getting drunk is no excuse for his behavior. Alcohol doesn’t change your core. I’ve been extremely drunk at times (not that I justify such behavior) but it has never led me to act violently or to insult the people I love. There is never any excuse for that.

Is this another one of those strange posts, in which a brand-new-to-Catholic Answers-forums-person posts a big, long, tragic drama (in which they are the victim) and claims they don’t know what to do? Seems almost like a repeat of the one posted by"thiscantbe" a few weeks ago. That person got called out for being a phoney and I see they are “Banned” now.

I think so. That’s why I asked where she is.
She’s gone I suppose. It might be a guy wanting to see what we’ll say.

We can only speculate really. But maybe some people just want to hear what others think but don’t want to discuss. I don’t know.

I know for myself that I have a propensity to want to ask questions, but then don’t always follow up on the questions that I asked with a second post. I have to force myself to do it sometimes because I have a tendency just to want to hear the answers.

Anyways, the situation is quite believable unfortunately.
