Yes. And Paul was writing to Jewish converts who insisted on performing the ritual works of the Mosaic law. Due to the horribly wrong and discredited man-made idea of bible alone, bible Christians are almost always 100% wrong on this. Copying and pasting Romans 3:28 does not solve anything - it merely points out their error and limitations.
Initial justification is by God’s grace through our faith. But life continues. Are we simply supposed to faith our way through life? Yes and no. We are expected to cooperate with God’s grace. Indeed, we will receive a reward for good acts - even for praying in private.
Another thing that so-called bible Christians seem to be horribly wrong/ignorant of is that 100% of scriptural references to our judgment - heaven or hell - are based on our works, what we have done.
i feel sorry for them, as they do not know their limitations, or the limitations of bible alone.
