Smith said that Clinton’s visit to the Catholic Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City, where she presented a bouquet of flowers on behalf of the American people, was “a very nice gesture.”

But the gesture was at odds with her speech while receiving the Margaret Sanger Award.

“In her remarks, Secretary Clinton said she was ‘in awe’ --I repeat, ‘in awe’-- of Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood.”

“To our distinguished Secretary of State, I respectfully ask: Are you kidding? In ‘awe’ of Margaret Sanger, who said in 1921, ‘Eugenics…is the most adequate and thorough avenue to the solution of racial, political, and social problems’ and who also said in 1922, ‘The most merciful thing that a family does to one of its infant members is to kill it’?” asked Congressman Smith. Oh I just love the self righteous patronizing!
No one is speaking ill of Our Secretary of State they are quite simply stating the truth.

1. She had no business going to the Shrine if she could not even be bothered to find out exactly what it was.
2. Why was she even there? what was the point when she had no idea who he was or why there was a shrine.
3. The picture on the tilma was of Our Lady Of Gaudalupe Pregnant with Jesus, then she goes on to A PP to honor Margaret Sanger.
4. Had she disrespected any other Religion in that way, especially the Muslum religion we would never have heard the end of it.
5. She so totally showed her disregard for Catholicism. and that offends many Catholics.
6. I find it kind of ironic that you accuse us of speaking ill of her when she so clearly insulted us.
