I second www.SQPN.com it is the place where you will find the best catholic podcasts. Fr. Roderick will be at ewtn in October.

Anybody know of a good audio bible? I am listening to the 1-Year Bible On Radio podcast. It’s the NIV translation which is a dynamic equivalence translation (thought for thought rather than word for word). It’s ok, but I think I might prefer a more literal translation.

I have a Google gadget that also links to streaming audio of the ESV translation (it’s also a bible-in-a-year thing). The problem with that one is that I don’t have access to the audio after a week. The stream is also verse by verse so there’s a very brief skip as it moves from verse to verse.
 
Anybody know where to get the Mp3 version of Dr. Tim Gray’s EWTN “Gospel of Mark Bible Study” series? EWTN has it in RealAudio, but not, as far as I can tell, in Mp3. Thanks!
 
You can convert RealAudio to MP3 format by using Streambox Ripper. Be sure to use the “batch” feature if you’re going to convert a number of tracks.

Now this is just crazy!

Here’s a link to the Catechism of the Catholic Church in MP3 format – now there’s no excuse for not knowing it. Well…up through paragraph 1112, anyway, as that’s as far as the recordings go…

Here are some talks by Steve Ray, Dr. Robert Morgan and Fr. Eric Forbes. I’ve listened to Steve Ray’s talks before (and they’re really good), but not the other guys – I’ll let you know if I notice any orthodoxy problems as I listen to them, but for some reason I doubt there will be any.
