How did you get a picture of the Grand Master?

vern humphrey:
I was not in Dallas on November 22nd, 1963.

Well, okay, I was there, but not in Dely Plaza.

Well, I was there, but unarmed.

Okay, I had a rifle, but I was just sitting on the grassy knoll, enjoying the scenery.

Well, I MIGHT have fired a shot at random, just out of pure exuberance.

But I had nothing to do with any plot. The fact that Lee Oswald is my first cousin is just a concidence.http://forums.catholic-questions.org/images/icons/icon12.gif
Nice try, “vern humphrey.”
Thanks to Jack Chick’s work in this area, I was able to decode your message.
VERN HUMPHREY anagrams to VERY PURE HMHN. Since H is also the Greek eta, it becomes VERY PURE EMEN. Take out one E and it’s VERY PURE MEN. Thus it is obvious that you are part of the Betty Crocker/B’nai Brith/Plumbers Union scheme, and probably a member of the New Orleans Saints (= NO SAINTS) fan club, the rogue Masonic/Call to Action splinter group.

Once Elvis can get your GPS coordinates from the Vatican computer, you and your Albigensian buddies will be dealt with.

I tell you Mandrake, uhhh I mean, Severinus, they are attempting to contaminate our precious bodily fluids!

Yes, Nichevo is Russian however; I am not. I’m Greek-Irish-German. Russian is one of my favorite languages to speak and write in though.

For our friends in occupied France tonight:

Jean a une longue moustache.

Jean a une longue moustache.

I think I need to replace the foil in my hat, I’m getting wierd reception.

I read the article. It’s nonsense. More hysterical rantings about our commander in chief, who did win two elections. I’m sick of hearing about how Bush “lost” in 2000–we’ve never elected a president by popular vote, always by the electoral college. Bush did win Florida–conceded even by the NY Times, an agenda-drive, biased, far leftist newspaper.

He won. Get over it.
Please note:

George W. Bush is NOT “our commander in chief.” As president, he is commander in chief of the armed forces of the United States, as provided in the Constitution (Art. II, Sec. 2). He is not commander in chief of the civilian population.

Karl Keating:
Please note:

George W. Bush is NOT “our commander in chief.” As president, he is commander in chief of the armed forces of the United States, as provided in the Constitution (Art. II, Sec. 2). He is not commander in chief of the civilian population.
On the other hand, we could say he is the commander in chief of OUR forces and our employee. And therefore our commander in chief.

Mr. Keating,

The President by virtue of his job wears several hats in the name of the American people. He is the Head of State and acts in the name of the American people when interacting with foreign governments. He is the Head of Government and acts in the name of the American people when signing or vetoing legislation presented by Congress, Finally, he is the Head of, or Commander in Chief, of the Armed Forces. He acts in the name of the American people when use of force is deemed appropriate.

The President may be, and has been, referred to by any of these titles. I may have nothing to do with International relations yet, acting in my name as a citizen, he is my Head of State. He may sign legislation that has nothing to do with me. However, acting in my name as a citizen, he is my Head of Government. Finally, he may choose to use force in a manner in which I totally disagree. However, acting in my name, he is still my Commander in Chief.

Considering him to have authority to command the American people as if they were subject to the Uniform Code of Military Justice is wrong however, referring to him as “our Commander in Chief” is as appropriate as referring to him as “our Head of State.”

Regards,

Your screen name is very apropos. It’s what I find myself doing every time I read one of your posts. Out of curiosity, do you do anything in the real world in order to make it a better place or do you just post here in the attempt to inflame passions?

This link is absolute garbage. Stop wasting bandwidth.
I’m the Director of Religious Education in my parish. I participate in our parishes’ feeding the homeless program. And also I work with drug addicts trying to help them slay the beast.

I don’t post with the intention of inflamming passions, but to inform. People on this form need it. The reaction to this thread on THIS forum, conservative, quasi (sp?) Christian, is not surprising. I’ve never seen such a pro war, the American government is holy, Christian forum in my life.

I also can’t help but think of how Bush is the most hated president in memory (including the hatred he received from a significant percentage of the news media). I don’t think he has the power to rig a nationwide election by 4.8 million votes.
Obviously he, or the conservative machine does, he “won.” Hey, the facts are facts…Bush stole BOTH elections. I just study the facts and believe what they say. I have no agenda but to know the truth. Whatever, or however painful that may be.

Nichevo, eh? Sounds Russian, doesn’t it?

The real story of November 22, 1963:
  1. Kennedy learned of the Masonic/Vienna Boys Choir plot to replace the pope with a Bilderberger-endorsed Bulgarian.
  2. Marilyn Monroe, of course, heard about it during a tryst in the Temple of Osiris in a secret chamber inside the Library of Congress.
  3. Monroe spilled the beans to the Daughters of the Mystic Dawn during their initiation ceremony for John XXIII’s secret wife.
  4. They passed the news to Billy Graham, who, of course, alerted his superiors at the International House of Pancakes (you always wondered about the name, didn’t you? It’s really Internationale).
  5. Lee Harvey Oswald was set up as a patsy while Nazis from Area 51 (50 states+1 New World Order) dispatched two Jesuits to Dallas to fulfill their Secret Oath.
  6. The deed done and the plot foiled, Fidel Castro and the Grand Master of the Knights Templar met at Ed’s House of Mutton (=sacrificial lamb) in Tacoma to make sure that Jack Ruby was brainwashed into taking care of the patsy Oswald.
  7. Ruby, under the impression that his orders were actually coming from Alberto Rivera and Carol Channing, shoots Oswald (“Oz-World” = utopian society based on Gnostic texts), thus eliminating the loose end.
  8. Ruby receives an injection in prison from a Hare Krishna and dies.
I hope that clears it up. I had nothing to do with it; I was at Annibale Bugnini’s 33rd degree initiation.

Absolutely. In point of fact, collectively, WE are HIS.

Going back to the original theme of the thread, I’m going to interject my thoughts. I think in another 50 or 60 yrs. information will be released that the US knew alot more before 9/11 then they have been letting on. I don’t read these conspiracy theory sites, nor do I care too. But I think there is a lot more the gov’t knew than they admit too.

Our differences are predominantly political. I want to be clear, however, that on a personal level, I commend your admirable charity work. :clapping::clapping::clapping:

the NY Times, an agenda-drive, biased, far leftist newspaper.
Far-leftist? The NYT is liberal to be sure, but it is very much a solid member of the establishment. If you seek far leftist, read the Daily Worker or some of the socialist newspapers in the very largest cities. You can’t compare those political manifestos with the wealthy capitalist status-quo NYT.

C’est à rire.

You have no facts to back up this assertion.

First - I am impressed with you charity work.

Second - I am disturbed that you think conservatives on this forum are “quasi” Christian. I would think a director of Religious Ed. could show a little more charity.

You claim to “inform” - yet you rarely present facts - just arguements.

Very admirable. I teach CCD (8th grade) and am always glad to see others take an active interest in the faith formation of our youth. Thank you for your service to parish and community.

It is a bold asusmption to assume what we do or do not need. Deciding what others need is a theme that repeats itself frequently in the progressive agenda. Even if it wasn’t your intention for it to be so, it comes across as arrogant.

In what way are you using the term conservative? In reference to the political philosophy or Catholicism? The term conservative has very different meaning when applied to each. (The use of the word when applied to a certain group within Catholicism is a misnomer anyway.)

Please define quasi-Christian. When I think quasi-Christian, I think gnosticism.

I don’t believe anyone here is “pro-war”; the term defined as “the use of force trumps any and all other methods or accomplishing goals.” Many here, including myself, do see the use of force as being at times legitimate and necessary. This is a debate and discussion that has continued throughout the history of our Faith. The fact that those who share your faith disagree with you doesn’t make them anymore wrong than it makes you 100% right.

I have never once on this forum seen anyone refer to our government as “holy.” (and I doubt one could, after all Ted Kennedy is still in office.) Please provide citation.

Don’t use the non-stick foil; it keeps sliding right off.
