I’m making progress against my sexual impurity addiction slowly but surely. Please continue to pray for me so I can, by God’s grace, be free of this. Thank you!
 
Many prayers for you! It’s a difficult road, but you can do anything with God! You’ll be in my intentions as I pray the Divine Chaplet of Mercy this morning.
 
Gracious and loving Lord, we beseech You to smile upon scapularkid8, giving strength against the sins which are a product of this world. Father, we live in the princedom of the evil one, and his foul temptations surround us always. Grant scapluarkid8 the vision to see the lie behind the attraction of sin. Lord, our lives are a process of conversion and we beg You to remain with us, purifying us step by step on the way to Your Kingdom. We ask this through Christ, our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!
 
Mother Mary, St Maria Goretti, please intercede for this child of God for the purity you exemplified and defended.
Jesus please bring healing for this earnest heart and lead him to deal with his problems in the most effective ways.

Blessed St. Therese the Little Flower, shining examle of purity and chastity and total love of Our Lord, we ask you to intercede on behalf of scapularkid. Take his request to the foot of the cross and ask Jesus to bless him. May his heart be filled with the desire to see the face of Jesus and may he never rest in his quest to be holy.

We ask this through Christ Our Lord.

You can be assured that you have my continued prayers, SK, and I ask that you please continue to support me in my struggle to overcome sexual impurity, that I may not become too proud, but remember in humility that it is God who keeps me from falling into temptation.

I will lift you, and all people who call on the grace of God to help them conquer sexual sin, in prayer. :crossrc:
 
Thanks for your continued prayers everyone! It’s just so hard because I’m addicted. It’s just like alcohol or drugs.It’s debilitating. I know I can overcome this because I have in the past.

I was told in Confession last week that God wouldn’t ever give me a temptation/cross I couldn’t carry. I just have to remember that.
 
Lord I pray you will bind up and cast out the addiction holding her in the name of Jesus Christ.

I’m slowly, praise and thanks to God, learning to work past these temptations, but I fell today. (The frequency is diminishing. I can finally make it a week!!)

The road is still long though. Please continue to pray for me 😊 :o
