I know it is a sin to use contraception in a marriage to avoid pregnancy but what if you are already pregnant? Can you withdrawl or other means because there is no chance of new life?
A doctor told a friend that if she kept taking bc pills while she is pregnant with a boy it will be a homosexual.I know it is a sin to use contraception in a marriage to avoid pregnancy but what if you are already pregnant? Can you withdrawl or other means because there is no chance of new life?
No these things are sins against the sixth commandment.I’m not talking about bc pills or anything else that could harm a baby, but other things, like withdraw, or just masturbating without finishing in the woman.
I have to wonder why one would do such a thing?I know it is a sin to use contraception in a marriage to avoid pregnancy but what if you are already pregnant? Can you withdrawl or other means because there is no chance of new life?
Semen has other purposes besides just procreative ones. It also serves as a mood enhancer for the woman when her body absorbs it. It also helps a woman’s body become more accustomed to a man’s DNA, which makes the woman’s body less susceptible to attacking the man’s genetic material. The baby has some of the man’s genetic material. The question is (aside from the fact that it’s immoral), why would you use ABC when you’re already pregnant? It’s like the proverbial locking the barn door after the horse or the cow got loose (if it were moral at all). You can’t get pregnant again when you’re already pregnant: you don’t ovulate when you’re pregnant since the pregnancy hormones put that function on hold till the baby is born.
My question would be why would anyone want to deny these benefits? In fact, the results aren’t a complete surprise because semen does contain several mood-altering hormones, including testosterone, oestrogen, follicle-stimulating hormone, luteinising hormone, prolactin and several different prostaglandins. Some of these have been detected in a women’s blood within hours of exposure to semen.
There are other reasons for pulling out you know. The question is (aside from the fact that it’s immoral), why would you use ABC when you’re already pregnant? As far as humans are concerned, you may think you know all about sexual signals, but you’d be surprised by new findings. It’s been known since the 1990s that heterosexual women living together synchronize their menstrual cycles because of pheromones, but when a study of lesbians showed that they do not synchronize, the researchers suspected that semen played a role. In fact, they found ingredients in semen that include mood enhancers like estrone, cortisol, prolactin, oxytocin, and serotonin; a sleep enhancer, melatonin; and of course, sperm, which makes up only 1%-5%. Delivering these compounds into the richly vascularized vagina also turns out to have major salutary effects for the recipient. Female college students having unprotected sex were significantly less depressed than were those whose partners used condoms (Arch. Sex. Behav. 2002;31:289-93). Their better moods were not just a feature of promiscuity, because women using condoms were just as depressed as those practicing total abstinence. The benefits of semen contact also were seen in fewer suicide attempts and better performance on cognition tests.
There are no moral reasons for pulling out. There are other reasons for pulling out you know.
I agree but it seems like people are missing what is being asked. It seems like they want to try somethings. There are no moral reasons for pulling out.
I think you missed my point, which to was to make this comparison:It would be gravely sinful too if one were in menopause…
The marital act is to be completed in the normal way…not via “withdrawal”
I don’t think I would even want to know.mood enhancer for the woman, lol. i don’t know about that,
you ask why a woman would want to use contraception during pregnancy like withdraw, well for one you avoid the mess that comes with completion. Something that unless you are a woman you will not understand.
