Conversion of Husband

My husband is in need of prayers for his conversion. He is living a very secretive, angry life. He is pushing away his wife and children. He does not want to hear the truth, though I believe he knows it. I have been praying for him for SO long, but I am getting weary as his temper puts a strain on all of us and is very draining. Thank you all for your prayers…I’m so sad…

Dear Lord , look at mom4truth’s husband and guide him to become a GODLY man filled with Jesus in his heart and fill him with the Holy Spirit . Lord bless him and open his eyes to your goodness and love. Lord bring peace- love- harmony into this family . Lord surround your angels around this man to protect him from leading the wrong path and to follow your ways and let him be influenced by others to change his heart from one of bitterness and anger to one based in your love. thanks for doing this dear Lord , Lord have mercy on this man and on this family ! in the name of Jesus , amen . Thank you everyone who is praying for me, my family and particularly my husband. It means so much to me. I am in a lot of heartache right now. I pray he sees the “light”. Thank you for all your prayers, and please know that you all are in my prayers always, too! Thank you and God bless each and everyone one of you! Thanks be to God.

I have been in your husband’s position. Both of you are in my prayers. Your husband knows that the truth is very close to him. Consider yourself a vessel of Christ and His love. He will witness your goodness and come around. I am living testament to it.

Mini, Barbara T & Mark, Thank you all so much for your prayers! Mark, I’m glad what you stated is true for you; it can happen in my family too, right? I’m praying it will. It just seems that things can take Soooooo long. I try to show Christ’s love to my husband, but then he does or says something foolish (about the Catholic faith, which he is not) and then I shoot my mouth off! (In defence of my faith). When am I going to learn??? Everyday I tell myself, Mom, you will NOT open your mouth with harsh words in response to DH. But what happens? You guessed it! Some days I’m pretty good (very good, actually), other days I’m down right rotten! Looks like I need a lot of prayer too. Thank you all and you will also be in my prayers too. God bless you!👍

Non of us are perfect. I too try so hard not to answer by dh with harsh words, but not on issues of religion, and it is very hard. He too has a temper, so I understand. I will pray for both of you and for your husband’s conversion. I know with me too it seems so long of a wait for the answers to our prayer, but God knows what he is doing. I guess we get sanctified as well in all the prayers and tears we suffer as we pray for our hubby’s. Sometimes words are not needed but example and I know I fail in that area so much.
