Heavenly Father, we beseech You, by the power of Your Holy Spirit, to cause a change of heart in our chosen leader. May his heart not be hardened to the plight of those who have no voice. Grant that he sees clearly the parallel between his own youth and that of the children yet in the womb. May he give thanks that his own mother chose to carry him to term. And, realizing this, may he then act to undo some of the work of his own hands. We ask this through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Your only Son, Who lives and reigns with You, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!
