My father was an LDS bishop and he actually recommended the movie Jesus Christ Superstar. I found parts of it touching, and parts outrageous and offensive. It upset me a lot and in response I dove into the New Testament to clarify what really happened, and came to a greater knowledge of the Savior than I’d ever had.
