RyanL:
Have you talked with
Adventistnomore yet? He’s currently enrolled at an Adventist university, and is
exceedingly well versed in their theology and practices. If you PM him (or invite him to this thread), I’m sure he could help you greatly.
God Bless,

Thanks for the vote of confidence Ryan.
First the bad news…
There is very little Cathoic material aimed directly at Seventh-day Adventism (ironic, beause too much Adventist material seems to have Catholicism in mind,

)
The issue with finding good apologetics materials to use for the evangelization of Adventists is, quite frankly, very few of us ever return to the Catholic Church. There are a few of us on the forums who have, but we are plenty few.

Anyone could write apologetics materials directed against the teachings of faith group, but it can be difficult to be successful in evangelizing adherents because a faith is so much more than simple doctrines. Adventism especially is a culture, an experience, a worldview.
I think all of us who have attempted to share our Catholic faith with our friends realize that Catholicism is true, but by no means obvious/simple. Many Christians reject Catholicism because they are sure it is false. Fewer reject it because they are SURE they have the entire truth, and believe an element of that truth is that Catholicism is the most sinister religion birthed into the world. Welcome to Adventism.
I would also add that the Adventist apologetic is much more developed and complex than most non-Adventists imagine, most surprisingly in the field of early patristics. This is in part because of the group’s stress on education. My journey was made all the more difficult because i was so well-read in Adventist scholarship.
