For things like this the best thing that can happen is to have everyone just ignore it. Without the CL over-reacting this piece would only have been seen by a small number of people. With the CL over-reacting, this piece will be seen and talked about by many more people and have a larger effect that it would have without publicity.Has anyone heard about this? A very valid point, but there is a fine line between over reacting and burying one’s head in the sand. It’s a two edged sword. You don’t want to give it too much publicity if it has minor exposure, I agree, however if something like this were to gain momentum Christians are long overdue to react and react big time.
