About praying out loud…
I remember reading about Chiara Lubeck and others during WWII when they were seeing so much destruction in their area in Italy, and trying to find grounding in their faith. They struggled to eventually love the cross and find joy in it.
They would go outside together and pray outside in public the readings of the Gospels.
They have grown in numbers and are named, ‘Focliori’. It is a movement that is now growing in America. I am now wondering if spelling is correct.
I now wonder if that would be a good practice for us to do in this ‘tsunami’ of materialism and dissent…
Pray the Gospel out loud…fill the air with the Word of God, praise Him out loud to counteract the profanity and wasted talk.
We have much to learn from those who survived.
