It happens to me sometimes. It’s pretty strong, and I’m not used to wine. I feel embarrassed, and people stare at me. Anyone else do this?
I always thought that communion wine was about the mildest wine one could get.
I’m not sure that works for everyone. I’ve felt like sputtering with some strong wines when I barely touched it to my lips. You need only take a tiny sip of the Precious Blood. Don’t take a mouthful – just a tiny sip, and you won’t cough.
How did he do that?Father watered it down TREMENDOUSLY
Nuns like to have fun, too, it seems.1Lord1Faith:![]()

It depends on the priest–and often what was donated.
The strongest communion wine I ever ventured to try was one made by none other than cloisterd nuns. Father watered it down TREMENDOUSLY but that stuff was STRONG.
Only if they can no longer be described as wine. That’d take a whole TON of water in this case.Well, it is possible that if too much water is added, the wine can become invalid matter for consecration.
