Gee, Irish_Catholic, I guess I didnā€™t realize it before. Why should we scum of the earth even try to have communication with the God that created us and loves us? We must really have some nerve!! Imagine us, praying and reflecting and learning and thinking that if God loves us, He will have some sort of contact with us. What nerve!! What audacity!! We should really be bowing down to Mosacked, crying out ā€œWeā€™re not worthy!! Weā€™re not worthy!!ā€ and begging Mosacked, with his amazing intelligence and love, to throw a nugget of truth our way.

I feel horrible. My face is red with embarrassment. All this time I thought God loved us. I guess I was wrongā€¦šŸ˜¦

For anyone who does not know, Jack Chick is the writer of a large number of small pamphlets or tracts which seem to attack the Catholic Church, and also other faiths. I donā€™t know what church Jack Chick belongs to, or even if he is still alive. The tracts are easily accessible by googling ā€œJack Chick.ā€ I donā€™t want to post any links at this time because I donā€™t want to pick out one tract in particular.

Is Jack Chick right in what he states about the Catholic Church (and other churches)?

Is it at all possible that he is right?

Thomas Muntzer was right too or was it Arius that was right? Jack Chick is just another false prophet. Why do people follow these wolves in sheeps clothing and not the church our Lord Jesus Christ founded, The Holy Catholic Church?

Matthew 7:15 ā€œBeware of false prophets, who come to you in the clothing of sheep, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.ā€

He is not speaking prophetically that I know ofā€¦If anything he might have an evangelist giftingā€¦

Interesting. Can you use any means you want to spread the Gospel? What if someone wanted to use nude women to spread the Gospel? Isnā€™t there a problem with that?

In my opinion people like Jack Chick want to be the David who slew Goliath. They want attention, so they make themselves look like victims of some great conspiracy, and then champion what is good against an overwhelming force of evil. Jack Chick is a little man who wants to look big. The Catholic Church is a large target and easy to throw mud at. If the Catholic Church werenā€™t there Jack Chick would have just found some other big organization to attack. Thatā€™s all there is to this little guy. People like him want to feel special, and the only way they can do that is by running down something much bigger than themselves.

Actually, I am. Surprise you guys didnā€™t figure that out sooner.

Now if youā€™ll excuse me, I have to call Benedict and interrupt his baby eating to give him a few more names for the Protestant database.

Sounds like Al Gore doing a power point presentation. It doesnā€™t hold up under scrutiny.

With Chick, thereā€™s no connecting of the dots. He slings scripture at people, but he has no understanding or true discipline.

After a while, a person simply needs to get on his/her knees and pray for merciful clarity.
