Wrong.Pope Urban III was not a follower of Jesus.

Yes, I thought maybe posting John 8:44 would have been too harsh, then I realized they were Jesus’s words and I shouldn’t be worried. Meh, anyways we certainly do know.Perhaps this this another side of God from Islamic understanding, a characteristic that we thought clearly an antithesis of the true God. For God is not a liar nor He is a deciever.
Well, we know who is, though.
Hmmm I’m curious why would Muslims worship a deceptive god? How do they know they themselves have not been deceived just like the billions of Christians have been allegedly deceived?Wamakaroo wamakara Allahu waAllahu khayru almakireena
And they cheated/deceived and Allah cheated/deceived, and Allah (is) the best (of) the cheaters/deceivers. Qur’an 3:54
The word Markr means deception/scheming.
So, actually in Islam it’s acceptable that Allah is the best deceiver, therefore acceptable that he would trick everyone into believing that Jesus really did get removed from that cross.
Funny you posted this:Quote:
4:59 => O ye who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, **and those charged with authority among you. **
What laws would this be exactly?Copied from another thread, but I wanted to reply to it here.
Muslims are told to obey the laws of the lands they reside in;
Funny you posted this:
Too bad Mohammad didn’t follow his own rule while he was in Medina/Mecca.
Whatever the laws of the land was at the time Mohammad lived there. What laws would this be exactly?
Well Arabia was broken down into many different tribes, so there was no central figure of authority.Whatever the laws of the land was at the time Mohammad lived there.
Didn’t the Meccan Quraysh people reject Mohammad from the beginning…??Well Arabia was broken down into many different tribes, so there was no central figure of authority.
If your then referring to the leader of his own tribe -the Banu Hashim of the Quraysh tribe - well that was his uncle Abu Talib who was his greatest supporter, so what law did he break?
No other clan leaders who were part of the Quraysh rejected him, which led to the boycot of the Banu Hashim, his clan.Didn’t the Meccan Quraysh people reject Mohammad from the beginning…??
Makes no difference to me whether it’s “other” Quraysh clan leaders - it’s still Quraysh. No other clan leaders who were part of the Quraysh rejected him, which led to the boycot of the Banu Hashim, his clan.

Ok, how did Muhammad break any of their laws if he wasn’t even part of the Quraysh anymore. More to the point you still haven’t told me which law he broke…Makes no difference to me whether it’s “other” Quraysh clan leaders - it’s still Quraysh.
TGIF…!!!
Reuben J is correct. Urban II is responsible for the Crusades, not Urban III. You’ll see that he asserts, “Christ commands it.” according to Fulcher of Chartres.Wrong.
So you’re saying that Allah has never deceived anyone?Where are you getting your translations from? It is not ‘Allah is the best of deceivers’ it is Allah is the best of Planners.

But i guess if you type that into google you get answering-islam and Wikiislam; two notorious anti-islamic sites. Quel surprise.
Satan is the chief Deceiver not Allah![]()
You are wrong in that you are not in a position to make a pronouncement that Pope Urban III is not a follower of Jesus. Unless you are not a Christian and believe in judging others. I am not speaking of the crusades.Reuben J is correct. Urban II is responsible for the Crusades, not Urban III. You’ll see that he asserts, “Christ commands it.” according to Fulcher of Chartres.
“I, or rather the Lord, beseech you as Christ’s heralds to publish this everywhere and to pers*e all people of whatever rank, foot-soldiers and knights, poor and rich, to carry aid promptly to those Christians and to destroy that vile race from the lands of our friends. I say this to those who are present, it is meant also for those who are absent. Moreover, Christ commands it.[1]”
Robert the Monk quotes this from Urban II.
“Enter upon the road to the Holy Sepulchre; wrest that land from the wicked race, and subject it to yourselves … God has conferred upon you above all nations great glory in arms. Accordingly undertake this journey for the remission of your sins, with the assurance of the imperishable glory of the Kingdom of Heaven. Let this then be your war-cry in combats, because this word is given to you by God. When an armed attack is made upon the enemy, let this one cry be raised by all the soldiers of God: It is the will of God! It is the will of God!”[2]
**Islam’s prophet Muhammad recieved a different Jesus and a different gospel from an angel named Gabriel, **700 years after the revelation of Jesus walked the earth, established His Church, suffered His passion, was crucified and buried, resurrected from the dead and ascended into heaven all of these historical recorded events was revealed before eye witness accounts, who handed down to us these revelations by both Oral Sacred Traditions, and Sacred Scripture. Is it possible that Muhammad was a prophet of God? Can the belief in Jesus as our savoir and Muhammad as a prophet coincide? I don’t know much about Islam, but I’m quite curious about it.
Ok thank you I think the statement about Allah having noIt’s called the Shahada:
There is no god worthy of worship except Allah and Muhammad is His messenger.
The original shahada does not have “allah who had no children” in it.
