If Mass is at 4 PM, then, Confessions would likely be at 3 PM - ish.
At the abbey, which you are familiar with, confessions are 30 min. before Sunday Mass; the priest sits and waits in the Reconciliation Chapel (where there is a screen for those who prefer that method). I do face-to-face; I’m well enough known at the abbey that there’s no disguise possible! It’s also available before big solemnities, Holy Thursday, Good Friday. We used to have confession for 30 minutes before Mass on Sat. & Sun. but one of the priests never sat in the confessional. If we wanted to confess we had to tap him on the shoulder and ask.
You keep talking about when the Masses are but have not yet answered the question of several posters which is when are the Confession times at your parish Church.we have two different times for Mass on saturday.
4pm
7pm
do you think confession will only be at 7pm?
I will try going 4pm this saturday.
Aren’t there Masses also Monday to Friday?I dont know
the girl who work at the Church just said “it is before Mass” when I asked.
