I cannot stand her…she is just like Rush Limbaugh, they will both say anything to sell their book or entice people to watch them on tv.

I especially dislike how she stereotypes people, especially liberals. I am somewhat liberal and her stance on Godless liberals is a complete farce. I can only hope that she and others like her find the Lord and realize that they do not know everything; then and only then will their propagation of hate cease.

How come when Ann says it, its a joke, yet when Garlofalo makes a comment its hate filled?

Ahhh double standards, from those on the right against the left, and those on the left against the right, an American instituition. All while the non cool-aid drinkers stand back and laugh at both sides. 😃

I am not surprised that Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh are abrasive and sarcastic. After all, they are vilified and even threatened by liberals all day, every day. That tends to try one’s patience. These vilifiers never look at the reasoning or facts that they offer - it’s far easier to damn them for being rude and abrasive.

I believe that’s known as an ad hominem argument.

I find Coulter’s remarks on the Tiller murder both funny and sad. Funny that she takes the anti-lifers’ own arguments and uses them about Tiller’s murder. Sad that the anti-lifers get all up in the air and make personal attacks, while refusing to look in the mirror.

I struggle with abrasiveness and sarcasm myself, when I hear or read, “Catholics worship Mary” (and other such things) for the thousandth time.

Stereotypes only work when there is some truth to them.

Hate?

Hate?
Yes hate… it is called propagation of hate based on bias as well as stereotypes. I am sorry that you cannot see that we are all people. No one wants to be bunched with a group, especially if your morals and practices do no completely align.

Some truths… So with that said we can say that all Americans hate the Japanese because we dropped the “bomb” on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. You are kidding right. Or that all of LAPD hates black men because of the beating Rodney King took from several white policemen.

I guess you are right… we can stereotype because there is some sort of truth to it, even if a very small, minute minority is actually like the stereotype. Get real!

HAHA… If you take the double standard off the mainstream news, you will have no news! Mmm Cool-Aid.

Well…

She was being sarcastic…unlike the rest of the media who were calling Dr Baby Killer a saint and a martyr …

She also said there have been 3 abortion doctor murders compared to 60k babies KILLED under Dr Tiller.
I am sorry, but being sarcastic while speaking about a person who has recently been killed is wrong on so many levels.

Also, I would be careful comparing the numbers killed, it almost sounds like you are justifying them.

Let’s pray for those lost… all of them.

Ann Coulter speaks her mind and is very adept at using the language to point out liberal double-speak. I do not think she is evil. On the contrary, I think she is very good, but not in a namby-pamby way. People who want to sugar-coat the truth cannot perceive her wit and insight.
I’ve been thinking about this. I think it goes to demonstrate the liberal bias that so thoroughly infects the media that we find ourself appalled and we can’t really say why.

I don’t like Ann Coulter. I don’t like to listen to her, despite the fact that I agree with her social conservativism, ie, I agree with her views in large part. I find her abrasive and mean-spirited. She makes me think whistfully back to the Puritan roots of this country, when we had dunking stools. But think about what she said (and I’m paraphrasing): “I think of Tiller’s shooting as a termination in the 203 trimester” and “I don’t personally approve of shooting abortion doctors, but I don’t want to force my values on anyone else.” She just cleverly turned the pro-abortionists phraseology back on them. And everyone gets wiggy over it.

Now take Kate Clinton. I quite enjoy listening to Kate Clinton. She’s a hoot, she genuinely and effortlessly makes me laugh. I am also in complete disagreement with everything she advocates and everything for which she stands. She’s an out lesbian who never met a liberal idea she didn’t like. When the Servant of God HH Pope John Paul II died, one of her comments was to quote Moms Mabley, who said you should always say good things about the dead. “He’s dead? Good!” AND NOBODY BLINKED!!! Not a soul reported on it, no letters to the editor, etc., etc.

I don’t think there was anything wrong in the irony of what Coulter said. If we believe that the unborn child is a human, then how IS Tiller’s death anything other than what Ann said it was (and I’m not saying it should have happened, it should NOT have)? And that bit about “I’m personally opposed to shooting abortion doctors, but I don’t want to force my values on anyone else,” well, if their minds were framed to think and to think logically, it might make those who seek to excuse themselves BY making the exact same statement regarding the unborn child (think any number of “Catholic” politicians) at least stop making what amounts to a completely asinine and nonsensical excuse!

You mean like the Pro abortion people calling prolife people bigots and terrorists?

If he wanted people to speak better of him death he should have been a better person when he was alive. Dieing doesn’t change the life you’ve lead - it simply ends it.

Well pro-choice calling people bigots and terrorists… yes!

I am one of “those” who thing that just because someone is pro-choice does not make them pro-abortions… I don’t think they should happen, I think a different route needs to be taken.

I did not know that you had the power to judge. How about praying that he now realizes the bad he has done in this world and for Gods forgiveness? To me this makes more sense than bashing someone who is DEAD!

And his actions are already being judged:

The full U.S. 4th Circuit Court of Appeals has upheld the Virigina Partial Birth Infanticide Act in a 6-5 decsion. Judge Wikinsons concurrence is really interesting. He wrote
“The future, however, will not be similarly misled. The fact is that we—civilized people—are retreating to the haven of our Constitution to justify dismembering a partly born child and crushing its skull. Surely centuries hence, people will look back on this gruesome practice done in the name of fundamental law by a society of high achievement. And they will shudder.”

Agreed…

You need to wish that for libs and the pro murder politicians that call themselves Catholic.

I was taught that good judgment was a trait to be admired in a person.
Perhaps as those who we keep company with… You can dislike and say someone is not a good person. But to compare the #'s and elude to justificaiton is just wrong. Morally we should do as we believe is right!
