Her style isnt much different than yours or mine is it? The way you talk about her is not much different that the way she talks about people except she likes to throw some humor in here and there.

Okay Ann, stop now. You need to break away. My comments are targeted to one person, while Ann’s comments condemn entire group of people.

Was your reference to Martino as “Ann” meant to be charitable? Furthermore, while possibly less offensive, I don’t think that vitriol (or “comments” as your describe your attack) directed at one person verses groups is meritorious.

The “Ann” remark was a joke, you have heard of those, right? 🙂

You are correct, my comments were not charitable to Ann, I agree completely. Yet, sometimes individuals merit the truth, whereas entire groups do not.

If I called a person a mortal sinner because they were committing adultery, it meant come across as harsh, yet it would still be true. If I called an entire group (millions of people) mortal sinners without knowing their sins, that is flatly wrong.
