Countering Sedevanctism

What are some useful assertions and/or responses Catholic laity could use against those who hold to Sedevanctism? Say, if one was confronted by a Sedevanctist outside his church, and only had three or so minutes to exchange words? Longer responses are also welcome, of course.

Simply put, they are the ones making the assertions, and it is they who bear the burden of proof. Of course, there is none, but best to turn the tables on them. They use a similar basis (personal opinion) for their allegations as do all of the ‘restoration’ churches (Mormon, Jehovah’s Witnesses, etc.). It is utterly foundation-less. Since there is no vacancy of the Papacy, I would make them prove their case.
