Beyond the tragic loss of life around the planet, this virus has also played havoc on all of our economic systems & the Western way of life seems to be what is at stake here.

We as a human species are on the verge of realizing the origin, the cause, the spread & the impacts of this Pandemic. However can we yet realize what laid the foundations and the processes that took place in history that amalgamated to get us to this point?

Do we the human species take some responsibility for all that is happening? Can we see how we may be all to blame in some small way? Do we go further back into our own recent history hoping to understand the role we might have all played?

Or do we stop at absolute blame at only a few & once the finger is pointed there will be absolute proof.

THIS MUST NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN, we the human species should be intelligent enough to get it right once and for all & truly protect the integrity, health & well-being of all people.

When people face a new situation, they simply aren’t going to respond in a “perfect” way (whatever that means).
There is a learning curve, and no way around it.

It will happen again and again. We can make believe that the we are somehow separate or above the natural world, but it simply is not so.

As Carl Sagan once asked, “Who speaks for the Earth?”

It is estimated that over a hundred vaccines are being tested. Good luck making the judgement which is the most optimal.

Very true & If I may add that our learning curve must include our own mistakes well before this virus was even apparent. The foundations humanity laid a decade or more ago should also be scrutinized to elevate our understanding & hopefully realize the role if any we might have all played.

I admire Carl Segan & his contribution to science. As to the question of “Who speaks for the earth”

I ALONE CAN DO NOTHING
BUT TOGETHER WE CAN DO EVERYTHING

So the answer would be all of humanity as one collective group.

As for decisions regarding medications including vaccines are historically made using probabilities & statistical analysis and we always end up with the balance of more good than bad. Nothing humanity does is absolutely perfect it is merely a balance of greater good over lesser bad.
