I am so proud of those of you that defend our church…keep up the good work, for there are those that have nothing better to do than to try to tear it apart for sport…👍

Don’t like to go there but…Confession is good for the soul

I am with Freshman88 on this one. Unless told to sit down, I would be the first up, give a nod to someone I trusted, and forcibly escort him out. Like Freshman88, I could do so with minimum disruption and not look like the bad guy on camera.

Well I don’t know how much more confessing she must do…The Pope has come out and said this will never be allowed to happen again

We were nightly, treated to endless TV news shows about it…Its time to move on, and remember that the vast majority of us had nothing whatsoever to do with any of this…I am sick of seeing people take this and make it seem like we are some sort of a community of perverts…we are not…and I am going to stand up and be counted when we are under attack

I was talking to the guy in the mirror

I never feel the need to make anyone Catholic, but, to make sure that the truth is out there. It is like Archbishop Fulton Sheen said “There are not a hundred people in America who hate the Catholic Church. There are millions of people who hate what they wrongly believe to be the Catholic Church — which is, of course, quite a different thing.”

Off course there are millions of people who were misled by their spiritual leaders to wrongly understand the Catholic Church.

Having worked as a sacristan in a major Cathedral, I have had to remove people like this, and nothing is wrong in doing so, the Archbishop always thanked me afterwards.
Walk into a mosque or temple and do this you would be pounced on and maybe badly hurt.
We have a right to worship in peace in our Churches, PC tolerance can go too far.
If I was there I would have quietly put this man in a goose neck hold and promptly escorted him from the Church.

+:)

😃 hi all we have heard of the word homophobic,i theenk it is time for a new word Cathophobic…makes sense after reading 1St.Peter3:14"…be not afraid of their fear…"by the sounds of things me would most likely would have taken too much pleasure in escorting that man from what is holy.

I’ve seen that crazy guy before. That is a parish deeply in need of a faithful Knights of Columbus Council. He wouldn’t have lasted 2 sentences with me there. It’s not beyond me to belly bust a guy like this. Used to do that to my own men when they carried on like fools. A guy like this should be shut up in the house of God.

Actually the problem with stopping a guy like this is he might be crazy enough to be packing something. But that is more of the reason someone should have stepped up to the plate…to at least protect the women if nothing else. That is enough to make anyone feel vulnerable.

Minimum disruption is how the congregation handled it. Freshman88 wasn’t looking for minimum disruption. Stating that you can tackle someone like in the old football days isn’t saying you’re going to be subtle or even Christian about it. But hey, someone upsets us we should just hit them.

Escorting someone out is fine, but I still think the congregation did the right thing.

Oh, someone help me, here…I know that the Alleluia they sang was a Gregorian one, but which one? 4? 6? This is going to drive me nutz…I love that one and the tune is usually what they call an “earworm,” in that once it gets into your head, it’s difficult to get it out.

My question is, was the preacher ranting during the Liturgy of the Word and folks stood up to sing the Gospal Alleluia?
