Yes, I think that would be a good idea. A few actually, through email though. Haven’t spoken to my parish priest in person but I have emailed him. Planning to do so this weekend. And nope no reply from him. The only reply I got from a Priest was “Clarify with your parish priest what area of scruples you have and see what he suggests you”
There is also this magic device called a phone.

Order the book “understanding scrupulously” by Fr. Santa (yes, santa) on Amazon, if possible. I’m scrupulous too and it helped me a great deal.

I’m scrupulous too but I would say 95% under control after working with a spiritual director and following his instructions. You need to come to terms with the fact that we can never be certain 100% about a lot of things. But it’s okay. God does not fault us for doing the best we can even if sometimes we are wrong. If a director gives you the wrong advice, it’s on him and he knows it. That’s why you need to get a spiritual director who seems orthodox and just trust him. That’s all, you are not obligated to fully investigate everything he says. It’s the best The Church gives us right now in advice for the scrupulous. And all we can do is work with that. Trust me, I have looked into it because I am scrupulous too. God bless

I have an ebook of it! But hasn’t been helping me much :/. Most of the problems described inside have to do with communion, confession etc which aren’t issues I have scruples in.

Yeah, I have this need to be 100% certain but then I realised it’s technically impossible. It’s impossible to know with 100% certainty whether what I’m seeing right now is real and not an illusion.

I don’t get what’s funny about this. The answer may be obvious to you, but it isn’t to me.
