What does the Church teach dogmatically about creation, and about eschatology?
As far as I know–God created the universe and all that is in it, though the Church does not teach how or when that was done, and God created human beings. As for eschatology–Jesus Christ will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, as to when has not been revealed. At the Ascension the angel said He will come in the same way He left. What does the Church teach dogmatically about creation, and about eschatology?
yes this is my understanding of church teaching as well. That God created all. That we are decendant form the original parnets Adam and EVE. It makes no claims on the how or when. Same for the End Christ will return we know not when.As far as I know–God created the universe and all that is in it, though the Church does not teach how or when that was done, and God created human beings. Jesus said that before the end there would be wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes, floods, etc. and a period of tribulation, but Church does not have any particular teaching on the end times like is prevalent in so many Protestant sects today. We are always to be ready for His Coming, whether it is by our natural death or at the End.
Basically, what is in the Creed.
