A molten core means that you’ll have a molten mantle which is what puts pressure on the crust to move (unevenly due to convection in the mantle), creating cracks (faults, i.e., San Andreas Fault in California), holes (volcanoes created by hotspots i.e., Hawaii, or subduction, i.e., Mount Rainer), subduction zones (trenches such as the Mariannas Trench )), spreading (mid-ocean ridges, i.e., the Atlantic Ocean, Africa’s Great Rift Valley and Iceland) and uplift (Himalayas).
